Amazon changes the consumer rules

Not at all... I used the chainsaw when I purchased it, at first I didn’t have a sharpening tool, so after use it quickly was blunt and I bought new chains, then it was months before use again.
Of course I read the instructions on safety and how to use but not on warranty.
The replacement guide bars from the manufacturer are almost the same price as the chainsaw.

The number of chains replaced is indicative of the quality of the product, not through heavy use.
I've asked Amazon if its possible to set-up the web-site so that when you click "Add to Basket" or "Buy Now" you can be assured that you are buying from Amazon and not a third party as now I am having issues with the Seller who I had no idea when purchasing is in Germany and so far has not responded.0 -

Curious, did the OP change the chains because they became blunt ? Did he sharpen them?

As for Amazon's website not being clear where you are purchasing from - it is. Its just not as clear as you wanted it to be to fit your situation (unfortunately for you).0 -
OP sorry if this was asked but when you say the guide bar failed what happened to it exactly?
How are your chains breaking?
Do you find the saw pulls to the right or left giving a diagonal cut through the log?In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1 -
Regrettably I would not call the usage as minor as 3 new chains and multiple sharpening is definitely not minor, unless they were cheap chains.
