Hi all
Long, tough day at the paid stuff yesterday but I managed to get out for a walk and also to dust and hoover the LR and clean out the LR fire. Have been into the office today and started with a bad headache so finished early. I am now worrying about the fact that I have had two bad headaches in a week (which are probably caused by being anxious!). I have just had a 15 minute nap so I am hoping that I can still sleep tonight.
Upstairs hoovered and dusted, our bed changed, DH made tea. As@a order to check and finish next, then a little yoga I think.

I have been at the paid stuff, done some washing and cooked dinner. Not a lot else, I'm afraid!!
At work again tomorrow but hoping to sweep, do some ironing and clear 2 areas of gibble x
Hugs, spoons and sticks to all in need x
Hope the weather doesn't affect any of you x8 -
Well sum total of flying is masking tape removed, curtain rail re-affixed, curtains up. I decide 3 coats was enough.

Just dropping in to say we have central heating at last! 2 months to the day since it last worked.
Not a great deal of flying as such today but:
- took car in for service
- dropped in to Mr T to survey the flowers; I plan to buy on Fri, arrange on Sat, take to funeral director (who lives 5 doors down from me) on Sun all ready for Monday. There seem to be plenty of colourful flowers available thankfully, but I bought 3 different colours of spray carnations which make good fillers as they are still in bud and will need a few days in our WARM house to open. Oasis base ordered and arrived; rough idea of arrangement identified on YouT*be and studied.
- Spent ages with the layout of the order of service, choosing font/photos etc but finally got it done. BIL liked it. It's an absolute pain that this is his week off (he works shifts) yet he is 130 miles away and can't be here for support (for him and us) and to help.
- We've both checked the clothes we want to wear, to avoid any last minute ironing etc.
- Collected Mr T c & c when I went to pick up the car.
- Filled bird feeders.
- Had a quick general look round house; nowhere is too dirty or messy after last week, so now engineers have gone I can catch up with each room hopefully.
We've both been pretty wobbly this weekend for no particular reason; both trying to focus on MIL rather than friend at this time, until after Monday. Hopefully now the heating is done it is one less thing to worry about, although we're both sleeping fairly intermittently. However thousands of people have worse to deal with.
New drums arrived on Sat so have set them up and trying to make sense of all the settings.
In between, I'm gradually trying to declutter my office as I'd like a new carpet; the current one is about 20 yrs old and looks it.
Not sure what we are due in the way of weather; we had snow on Saturday but it melted quickly and have had quite a bit of rain since. Sounds wild out there now.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
Not much flying got done yesterday, although I did do the pellet stoves and hoover through downstairs.
However I dealt with a VERY stressed DD as potential internship said they would call back in the morning. She paced like a caged tiger all morning, eventually was persuaded to get in the shower as they wouldn't call at lunch time, after lunch she had concluded that it was another no so we settled down to more applications online and at 4pm having just organised another video interview they called and hooray she has an internship. Just need the engineering school to approve it now but am hoping they will be quite tolerant given the current situation. What a huge relief for us all.
Sadly my best friend's mum died yesterday evening, not expected but glad it was quick as her dad suffered alzheimers and it went on for years. Feel so helpless I can't be there for her, but so many of you are in the same situation.
Put kitchen to bed last night so nice this morning
OH unloaded DW
Pellets brought in and stoves on as OH is working from home
Need to sort out documents for DD2 so she can look for a place to rent to do this internship
Also have got work for a good few months, 2 full days, a bit of a drive but worth if for full days in one place. So need to do assesments and plan the groups.
Financially hanging on in there but gosh this month is long, still another full week to go, was thinking that once I got through the weekend that was it.
Best smile is on and I'm off to put the WM on
Bigs HUGS to all of you especially those struggling.

I'm up and so is the list - somewhat late but I was knackered last night. I had hinted in a post that is would be the main bedroom so hopefully those of you who follow the list properly will have spotted that and be on with it (whistles nonchalantly).

plus OH has mended my wardrobe again, it keeps listing to the left, but the bed stops it from going any further, I think it is time for hammer and nails.
