You can also check the status of your charge by viewing it on the CP Plus website. If it shows cancelled (or anything similarly in your favour) take a screenshot and retain fro posterity. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Just to add that I've also received an email from Ken McMeikan this morning - I hadn't reached court claim stage (I had my letter of claim 4 weeks ago) but it's still a welcome step in this battle.
I'm mostly a lurker on these forums but thank you to everyone who has contributed towards the advice and help sections - they're very useful, easy to follow once you've calmed down from the shock and indignation and it's been a massive help resolving this issue.6 -
Would this be on the pay a PCN section of the website?Umkomaas said:You can also check the status of your charge by viewing it on the CP Plus website. If it shows cancelled (or anything similarly in your favour) take a screenshot and retain fro posterity.

Yes you can pretend to pay by card and most PPC websites will show if the PCN is cancelled, or if not, the images they hold.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Nice one. For any parking firm, when a cancellation might have been effected, their website is always a useful 24/7 resource to keep checking for latest information on the PCN's status.Hang on to that screen grab! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Letter of discontinuance received. Case officially dropped. Thank you all for your help through this matter. Glad I don't have to go through further case prep, but happy I went through what I did from a learning point of view!7
