Got it all drafted and ready to go now unless I hear otherwise.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Agreed with everything said above.
This industry including the legals are so desperate now they will try all tricks.
In the case of BWLegal given some of the letters and claims we use, it is obvious someone on their staff does not have a clue themselves.
A complain to the SRA is vital because as said, just how many people fall for this trickery who do not know about the time period and just pay up3 -
to the SRA..because you are misrepresenting your ability to file a claim when you know, as officers of the court, that you are completely barred from doing so. This could mislead an uninformed consumer into making a payment under threat of court action that cannot occur.5

I would ask ''do schools not teach people how to start and end a formal email?'' but I used to work in a school and generally, no they don't. Arrrrghhh!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Looks like ParkingMadd has now seen off their similar claim to yours. Yours should go the same way. Sad though that some motorists that receive these old claims will just pay up.

Any decent legal firm would not touch these claims. They must be aware that these claims are statute barred. I realise that they can still chase the debt but for a legal firm to become involved and threaten court action seems very lacking in integrity. They should be advising their client that the claim is statute barred and will not stand up in court.
What a grubby set up.
