Will do, thanks :)  Got it all drafted and ready to go now unless I hear otherwise.
If you care to post your draft here, there may be additional/alternative angles that regulars might suggest to make your complaint even more potent.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Hi,

More than six years have passed since the date of the alleged event referenced above.  Litigation cannot now be commenced, pursuant to Section 5 of the Limitation Act 1980.

Please desist from contacting me in relation to the above.  Any further correspondence will be considered harassment.

I will be making a complaint to the SRA.

    Kind regards,

    Agreed with everything said above.

This industry including the legals are so desperate now they will try all tricks.
In the case of BWLegal given some of the letters and claims we use, it is obvious someone on their staff does not have a clue themselves.
A complain to the SRA is vital  because as said, just how many people fall for this trickery who do not know about the time period and just pay up

    Hi
    ???       Kind regards???

This is a formal business letter.
It should start Dear Sirs, and end Yours faithfully.
I was about to post the exact same.  Tearing my hair out when I read that!

I would ask ''do schools not teach people how to start and end a formal email?'' but I used to work in a school and generally, no they don't.  Arrrrghhh!

Looks like ParkingMadd has now seen off their similar claim to yours. Yours should go the same way. Sad though that some motorists that receive these old claims will just pay up.
