Re comped hotels. I have just cancelled all my April hotel bookings ( all comped with Mlife, Caesar’s and B connected . Usually stay at Caesars palace , after cancelling I went on the various sites to see what was available later this year . I can still see comps with M life but none on Caesar’s rewards 😟0

US vaccines - a few weeks ago they seemed way behind us, but the stats recently suggest they have significantly caught up. We've had supply issues for 3 weeks or more now, so it's no wonder. That said, our supply issues are almost resolved, and there's supposedly heaps of vaccines going to be available before end March.
As for travel - May I can't see. England may be considering travel after 17th May, but I think it will be restricted. It could also require vaccine passports, testing or whatever. We usually go September time, but I can't see it. With the ramp up of vaccines, I'm hoping for dose 1 early April and dose 2 early July. So it's still several months before I'll travel - unless I happen to get J&J but there's no word on when the UK are getting that. I think if US keeps it vaccination programme going it could become possible to travel there.
On another (and quite important) note lol, my husband read a story about Wicked Spoon and Bacchanal buffets opening. Vlogs in Vegas suggest things look quite normal there, but still masks at the pool etc. I'm not anti-masks, but I really don't want those tan lines lol.0 -
In previous years we have taken travellers cheques for our gambling money and cashed them in the casinos. It seems quite difficult to get hold of them now... I just wondered what fellow MSE'er's do for cash.
Thanks for any advice.Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.0 -

- MBNA Horizon (credit card - never been available to new applicants, but permits interest and commission free withdrawals and no withdrawal fee if used @ BOA)
- Halifax Clarity (credit card - available to new applicants and also commission free cash withdrawals, but you have to pay the withdrawal off straight away to avoid a small amount of cumulating interest)
- Revolut (you just load it up with currency prior to the trip... not sure if there are limits on what you can withdraw with this 'per month' depending on the plan you have with them?)

I use post office credit card ( now Jaja) to pay for hotels etc as there is no fx loading
a combination of Halifax clarity credit card (ATM cash withdrawals )
, Revolut preloaded
starling bank debit card (ATM cash withdrawals)
I don’t pay any fees other than the ATM fee and get the best possible exchange rate on the day.
I last used travellers cheques last century 😮
