  • Really hope for some assurance
  • Hi there,

I know there's a million of these questions.

But, we've had all our documents ticked on the tracker. They've not asked for bank statements, and we are waiting for our valuation which will be done today.

They requested further info regarding repayment of HTB which we confirmed.

Does this mean that pending valuation, it's all good? Or is it impossible to tell?

    Thanks in advance :)
  • Hi

looking for some emotional support as I’m now in the limbo period just waiting for our offer. Is there anyone else here who applied on 27/09?

    27/09 broker submitted our app
    27/09 credit check
    28/09 valuation booked
    29/09 valuation
    30/09 all requested documents provided
    07/10 ID copies provided
12/10 a query over estate agent details resolved (private sale)

I’m now just  instantly checking my tracker an unhealthy amount of times a day..

Tracker has ticks against all actions in the assessment and valuation section

someone tell me I won’t have to wait long it’s killing me!
  • We applied on 15/09 and are still waiting!
they requested further documents ( proof of equity in the house we are selling) & (proof of funded childcare starting). So think this has made us join the back of the queue again!
would be so much easier if they said what they needed from the beginning!

This is what annoyed me, just ask for everything right from the start, save all the unnecessary back and forth.

Yes I was a bit surprised when we were asked for ID after a week, but then we are FTB and so everything is very new.
I managed to speak to Cora today after reading on this thread that you can actually get through to a human - they said there was an outstanding query on the viewings contact (we are renting the property we are buying)

they let me resolve that through Cora and then said it would be two working days to go to offer…holding my breath

none of that was known to L&C and wasn’t on the tracker.  Anyone waiting might benefit from trying Cora (9-5)

hopefully we will get some good news soon fingers crossed for you too
  • I’ve also found Cora useful. You have to spam them for about a minute before it lets you through to a real person though…
