So I just received a lovely letter from the CCBC. Missed the deadline for submitting DQ. Luckily they've given me 1 more week to submit. That was nice of them.
DQ form is found at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/form-n180-directions-questionnaire-small-claims-track
It appears they do not send this form to you anymore as the newbies thread led me to believe. You need to find yourself at .gov website.
Will be sending completed DQ to CCBC immediately. What are the rules about sending to claimants solicitor?

Send to them too. Everything now is court and claimant solicitors. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

That's not true. The CCBC screwed up by not sending it to you. How could Defendants fill in a form no-one tells them about?!railwaytaverncustomer said:So I just received a lovely letter from the CCBC. Missed the deadline for submitting DQ. I was sent a "General form of judgement or order" saying I had 7 days from service to file the DQ, otherwise my defence would be struck out. I've definitely not received anything else from court other than the "Notice of proposed allocation to track" letter. Apparently it specified the date the DQ needed to be sent there. My fault for not reading thoroughly.
If Court was at fault not sending DQ I should mention at some point then?
Anyway, no harm as judge sent me a nice letter saying "IT IS ORDERED THAT" the Defendant must file DQ by such and such. Just letting you know in order to help out.

Not worth the trouble.railwaytaverncustomer said:If Court was at fault not sending DQ I should mention at some point then?
Just file a DQ with the CCBC and send a copy to the Claimant.5 -
There is no Court at the moment , you are dealing with the CCBC , a government officerailwaytaverncustomer said:I was sent a "General form of judgement or order" saying I had 7 days from service to file the DQ, otherwise my defence would be struck out. Your DQ is where you nominate a court for the first time !!
Just because you did not receive it doesn't mean that it wasn't sent !!
Or you did receive it and did not deal with it , or did not read it properly
Your claim history on MCOL will state if and when it was sent , moot point now , but facts are facts , not assumptions4 -
So it turns out I'm just an idiot and the DQ was sent with 1st letter and I just didn't notice.
Some mothers do have em.
Nice of court to give a second chance to send it in. Is that always the case?0 -
I've not seen that before, but I don't see every court Order ever sent! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
