That was a different PCN but you can certainly mention it.How is the ridiculous sum of over a grand arrived at?!Court claim says its the cost of the PCN's and damages. We know that, I was asking for the breakdown please. We want to know how much is PCN and how much is fake debt recovery/damages, and interest.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

"Its not one of the same fines unfortunately. I only know about 4 of the PCN's on the new claim so I will have to submit a SAR to get all the information. I have found an email from the Man Co saying VCS would cancel the fines but they wanted a £20 admin fee for each one which I wasn't liable to pay as the Man Co were at fault for not fixing the entry gates for months."
I wonder what the contract with the MC says. We have seen contracts that allow the landowner/MC to cancel so many PCN's per month.

That's the breakdown of the claim.
£800 PCN's and damages. £187.05 interest. £60 court fee and £70 legal representatives costs. Total is £1117.05.1 -
The management company was called Urban Owners and they don't exist anymore. When I submitted a SAR they couldn't give me any information because the guy I was dealing with had left the company and his emails were deleted. From what I remember last time the contract didn't state the landowner could cancel the PCN's. The only reason I was fined was because I was waiting for my permit to be sent to me from the car parking company and Man Co.Snakes_Belly said:"Its not one of the same fines unfortunately. Reading the POC there were 5 PCN s at a maximum of £100 a pop , so they probably added an extra £60 per pcn to make £800 , not allowed !!!
And the added interest beggars belief !!
Typical Yasmin using smoke and mirrors with her hacked calculator , or fat fingers !!!
They really are cheeky b####rds !!
Ps , you should have redacted the VRM in that picture !! So replace the picture4 -
The only reason I was fined was because I was waiting for my permit to be sent to me from the car parking company and Man Co.So the PCNs at £100 a pop were issued by the PPC because they delayed issuing the permit. Clearly an unfair consumer contract and an easy one to explain to any Judge why this is unfair and aggressive business practice, with no 'legitimate interest' to back it up. There has to be a legitimate interest. Not there, is it?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hoping it doesn't have to go to court to be honest. There is no legitimate interest and I have emails from the Man Co saying VCS were conducting an internal investigation into why the permit was received so late. It took over 4 weeks for my permit to arrive. Will get my defence together over the next week or so and possibly take legal advice if I don't feel confident enough.Coupon-mad said:The only reason I was fined was because I was waiting for my permit to be sent to me from the car parking company and Man Co.So the PCNs at £100 a pop were issued by the PPC because they delayed issuing the permit. Do NOT Take legal advice. You can't get the costs back and most solicitors have no experience of this sector at all. Even barristers can't get their heads round this niche area of contract law and miss the blinking obvious stuff that we spot straight away from years of experience.
DO NOT ask the CAB either. Utterly useless on parking charges, they may as well just not bother and refer people here and they'd help consumers more.I have emails from the Man Co saying VCS were conducting an internal investigation into why the permit was received so late. It took over 4 weeks for my permit to arrive.I would email VCS' data protection officer now and ask for the notes and records of that internal investigation because it is your personal data and you want disclosure of everything under a SAR, now. Be specific, not generic, about what you want to see. Show them the email that says 'VCS are carrying out an internal investigation' and pinpoint that you want all their data on that issue along with the usual photos and copies of PCN/letters, etc.PRIVATE 'PCN'? I sent them the email before saying there was an internal investigation and they said they had no knowledge of it. I have submitted another SAR but they haven't replied to that yet.Coupon-mad said:Do NOT Take legal advice. You can't get the costs back and most solicitors have no experience of this sector at all. Well if there was no internal investigation, why not? After all they told the Managing Agent there was, and one would expect something to be done about an unexplained 4 week period where they withheld a permit, yet continued to issue PCNs instead. Anyone would think it was some sort of scam operation...oh, wait!
