the muffins that are two colours
work best with one cheap and
chearful flannel,20p each in Asda,
Tesco etc and a regular one from
anywhere.If you can shop around
you can find the cheap ones in
different colours.
if you are looking for bags for these
I bought the ones from Lakeland
50 for £1.99.I was not very impressed
with them as they are clear plastic bags
and not cellophane ones but you cant tell
this from looking at them until you open the
packet they are in.there are sellers on ebay
who sell cello bags quite reasonably or
altenatively there are the roasting bags from
Asda 10 for 99p,just cut them down the sides
to make two large pieces of cellophane to
wrap around. Also this is perfect for any homemade
chocs and sweets as its food grade quality:j:j:j0 -
Rosekitten, thanks for those pictures - it's good to see the size difference. I ordered the bigger ones as I'm hoping to use 2 flannels.0

Hello everyone, I have just found this thread and can I say how talented you all are and to say I have finally found some inspiration for my wedding favors!!
One question though do you think it would be better to make single cup cakes on the ones with 2 flannels???GC = £150.58/£2500 -
I have made well over 200 wedding favors with wash cloths and i only ever used 1 sometimes with a bath bomb on topI Love My Computer Because My Friends Live In It0

I think the smaller ones would look nicer
as a wedding favour, plus it will be a bit
more economical to make as well:j:j:j0 -
Great, I am going to start looking for inexpensive face cloths to do this, I think Dunelm Mill is doing 3 for 99p at the moment. I am trying to be economical and sensible about this wedding and ebay has become my new best friend having bought my dress and invites from there. Now I have you girls to thank for a great favor idea!!!GC = £150.58/£2500

Any idea about where to get cellophane bags or what works best???
Thanks againGC = £150.58/£2500 -

If you are going for the smaller cupcake cases then they will fit in a cello bag not sure on the size but https://www.flowerhour.co.uk sells them and most people from here use them. If you go for the bigger brown check cupcake case then they don't fit in a normal cello bag as I tried this and couldn't get them in. To be honest though it is probably cheaper to just buy a roll of cellophane from the same place and then cut it to size. Remember your curling ribbon
Superdrugs last week had some kiddies bath pearls reduced to 25p so if you look around then you will be able to find something similar to sit on the top as most others have done. ... someone even used some chupachips lollys which look fantastic and could just be pushed into the case in the centre.
Good luck and remember to take some picturesRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
