    Hey, just had a thought.
I wonder if I could make a larger reindeer using a hand towell  I could use up the larger bells then :D
    Has anyone tried this ???

Not tried it, however you could use a small box in the middle? maybe a childs/babys shoe box? ... not sure how you would do pipe cleaners? you could probably twist them together to make them thicker?

Hi Mariae, I have just received my order from Hobbycraft (2 packs bells, 2 packs pipe cleaners, 2 packs eyes), was quite impressed with their postage costs, only £3.13 and that was for delivery to Spain !!!
Unfortunately, they only had mixed bags of bells (pretty sure some of them are 'cow' bells .... lol, about an inch in diameter. Seems to be 4 different sizes, still plenty of small bells though, in a bag of 43.
    F.Y.I. prices were .....
    Pipe cleaners (304mm x 9mm) 25 pack ...... £1.49
    Bells 43 pack ...... £2.79
    Eyes (10mm) 55 pack ..... 1.99
Was just gutted that they didn't have any red pom poms, so still got to try and track them down.
Thanks so much didn't realise they delivered.:T Will give them a try. nearly sure I saw some pom poms on ebay? If I find the site I'll let you know.
    Mariae.

OOhh a big reindeer! Now that sounds like fun. Maybe a box of maltesers would be good to replace the soap

Mariea - could you not make your own pompoms using red wool? it would be fiddly but you make them like this http://www.kid-craft-central.com/pom-poms.html . you would be able to make any size you wanted then, for towels or flannels

I got my pom poms from a seller on ebay, however the problem there is that Candy is in spain and not all sellers ship to spain.

Candy I have some left over that I won't be using so dependant on how many you needed I can send you some over?

I've been following this thread with great interest & have finally got all the bits n pieces together to have a go at the cupcakes tonight when LO is asleep - Thank you all for your ideas & inspiration.

While googling I spotted these instructions for cupcake bath fizzers
Also, bhs are selling mini pots of lipbalm that look like cupcakes similar to these with they're christmas stock if anyone is putting together a cupcake themed basket.

Thanks:T actually managed to buy 2 bumper packs of mixed pom poms in tesco on bogof £1. Picked 29 of the smaller ones for reindeer.Didn't think of making them myself actually made some bigger ones with my son recently. I think making smaller ones would drive me nuts. Will deffo keep it in mind for future ventures.

Candy I wouldn't mind getting some bumper packs of pom poms for you @ tesco.I'm sure it wouldn't cost too much to send.
Also managed to get pipe cleaners and eyes from Hobbycraft just over £1 postage.:j So thanks for the info. Mariae.

Rose Kitten Those stripey ones look lovely. I have now got the pink muffin cases but think they are a bit smaller than those brown ones you have used going by other posts. I ordered some brown ones too but they are even smaller and not very good quality. I had to throw about 6 away as they were crushed to bits. I have managed to fit a cheap flannel in them for flannel muffins but wouldnt even get one sock in.
Will have another look for pink socks but think only the small slipper socks will fit into the pink cases. Was wondering whether some nice knickers might work otherwise as they are for teenagers.
Or those lovely scarves they hang round there belt loops ....chiffony ones
