    Mines a badly pulled pint!!!

First attempt at making a pint of flannels lol ... think it needs a bit more tweaking

I think sometimes Rusty we are our own worst critics, it's perfect. Truthfully I think you cracked it.

How are you today duck, I've been thinking about you.

    Good luck with the job.

  • Looks great Rusty - I did one yesterday (although mine was larger as I had a beige flannel!) looks ok, the hardest bit was getting the main bit to sit in the glass properly without looking all crinkled.
I rolled the 'head' ;-) like a cupcake which worked fine.

Need some cheap beer glasses now.
  • edited to add - If I could find my camera lead I would take a picture!

Mary! STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER!!! your list must be massive!!!!!

Thanks Soblivion ... I may take them out and try to rearrange them so there is not too much of a head on them. Failing that I will take them into work with me on sat and steal a tankard from behind the bar see if they look better in there.
Things are stressful and horrible today, I feel like I am being dragged through a hedge backwards and can't get back up on my feet. I sent a letter back to his solicitors recorded delivery and I have an appointment with a solicitor on monday at 11 to see if I qualify for free help with solicitors (legal aid I think it is?) Hopefully they will say I will as I don't have anymore fight in me. (which isn't like me as I can argue til the cows come home normally) Thankyou :) xx

Thanks BunBun :D ... yup tis me who had the lurgy yesterday ... can you come here so I can give you the rest of it? I am worse today, been up most of the night coughing, throat is swollen and really sore, keep being sick and can't stop fluffin coughing!!! I wouldn't wish this on anyone I have used almost a full box of kleenex man strong tissues just today :( Hope you feel better soon xxx

    Thank

I think the hardest part was trying to push it down into the base of the glass!!! even more so to get it to spread out more with the shape of the glass. the top was the easiest bit ... think I am using the wrong shape glass, will try again later on but now it is bed time for the children and I have a hot bath running with a delicious lush bath bomb in it to try and stop me feeling so yucky!!!

Rusty you'll keep us posted I'm sure. Praying all goes well Monday.
Sorry you're not well, sure that must be taking it's toll too.

Hope all of you ladies who are poorly feel better tomorrow. If not 'nurse' soblivion recommends a lovely Christmassy film a hot chocolate and a long soak in the bath tomorrow night. My orders, no arguments;)
