no it was 39p a metre
    yes its 3 inches deep
    its single satin ribbon
    its regular satin ribbon
    but only shiny on one
    side,its thin but perfect
    for this type of thing
    the double satin ribbon
    ribbon is thicker and shiny
    on both sides thats around
    59p a metre.

must add I do have plenty of ribbon left over
its just put on the spot I played safe and bought plenty

rosekitten your cake looks good enough to eat lol. I have only used thin ribbon on my 'cakes' the thicker ribbon looks so much more professional. Hope the people who are gettinmg the cake as a wedding pressie enjoy their day and am sure they will love the effort you have gone to. All the best Smo xx

Would love to know how to make the reindeers and the other ones - are they owls?Penguins? i dunno lol but they are cute x
