Thanks @Moneyfordreams well two hours on the phone on Tuesday and we are getting there!
Looks like new rate will be 3.94% not the 1.74% we have now but not the 6% quoted late last year.
The good news is we should be able to reduced the term to 9 years (currently 11 years 11 months) by choosing to commit to an overpayment.
One more phone call on Thursday to finalise.
Feel like 9 years will make me extra committed. Once that is paid off the fuj can begin!

Mortgage rate secured 3.89...not the 1.74 we had bit could be a lot worse.
We are overpaying so the mortgage term is now 8 years 6 months. So 2031!

So just like that it is June which means bye bye to our precious 1.74!!
On the plus side, I'm glad we fixed as it looks like the rates are set to go up not down in the short term at least.
Half term here. Loving the sunshine. Need to get a grip of my weight which is out of control. Off to France is july so setting myself a 7 pound loss challenge. 😎🤞
