I’ve managed because I’ve walked on the snow and the grass but the ice is no fun and really not worth the risk and falling and breaking something especially now hospital is the last place anyone wants to end up I have done some sit ups and squats in the house and I mean some but every little helps0

Had a walk it was lethal and so cold but bright pleased I made the effort 10000 steps done again 13 days on the diet and I have stuck with it never felt hungry and it has helped by been organised but I am determined not to get weighed until the end of January strapped my foot up when I came back see if that helps my son rang today and said some people who he knows in his running club when they have suffered from plantar fasciitis have a dish of ice and a dish of warm water in factory of them this morning finished his run then walked around the garden barefoot in the snow I will never be that brave see what tomorrow brings0

Thanks SA I will have a look at that sounds like something that would help just let the dog out for a little tinkle and it is absolutely freezing so I can’t see it been much better tomorrow1

Your son is brave walking barefoot in snow 🥶 Not something I’d do, I hate the cold. Well done sticking to the diet and the steps, I hope you’re pleasantly surprised when you weigh in at the end of the month.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

So do I SA I’ve stuck with it the walking and the exercise it will be a lot easier when I’m back at work but when that will be is anyone’s guess1

We’ve been told we have to work from home until at least May, then we’ll only be allowed in the office twice a week. I can remember when this all started off almost a year ago now and they sent us all home saying it would only be for 3 weeks. Little did we know.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

It it is the worst walk I have ever done it was like walking up a glass cobbled street what few people I saw were turning back no it’s not worth it but I ploughed on my back is absolutely breaking I felt like I was bent double looking down to where I was walking and looking at the snow done now got my steps in came back and had turkey dinner lovely saw a girl that I used to go to WW with years ago she said she had struggled with her weight during lockdown and was trying again it’s a constant battle put a load in to was and don’t think I will do much more today I wanted to go today and have a look at a house that is up for sale had a look through the windows it needs a lot of work doing on it I could afford it if I sold mine but don’t think I would have enough to do the work on it I like my house but hate where I live but couldn’t really take on a mortgage at my age and don’t really want to hubbys happy enough to stay here I wish I’d pushed to move years ago but something always got in the way he was made redundant 4 times in 6 years and then had a lot of illness and we just couldn’t risk it wish I had been braver but then that doesn’t always pay the bills I’ll keep looking you never know2

You reminded me of a few years ago when I was walking to work and my road was covered in black ice. I got to a stage where I couldn’t move one way or the other it was too slippy. Then a song came on the radio in my headphones - I get knocked down but I get up again - entirely appropriate under the circumstances.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
