I’m with you on that one I will have a good walk on a morning as soon as it’s lighter not safe just wandering about in the dark but like you I walked to work in the dark and when I get back to work I’ll have no problem with my steps have done some exercise in the house that doesn’t really count as steps but it’s about getting fitter as well and of course hubby thinks I’m only here to run around after him sick of hearing while you’re on your feet 😡

All steps count now matter how gained, even pottering around the house. Mr SA also thinks my sole purpose is to look after him 🙄

I like cauliflower rice but didn't like the broccoli rice even though I love broccoli. It tasted too green, a bit like seaweed. I hope you enjoy it anyway. Mr SA wouldn't touch it either. I think you're doing really well with the steps despite the snow and ice. We had a frost this morning which has stayed around but the pavements are ok for walking on. I think snow is forecast for us tomorrow. It is very frightening how this strain of Covid is taking hold. I was talking to someone at work yesterday who lost 2 elderly members of her family to it over Christmas.

What a terrible thing to say, it’s not your fault you’re furloughed, some people are so rude. You’re being paid to be kept in a job ready to get the economy back up and running when called back. No wonder you were angry.

We don’t have any snow here but have black ice which is making the pavements lethal in sheltered spots where it hasn’t thawed. Give me snow any day.

I should have ignored her really she is the same person who years ago said to me no wonder nobody can get a job you’ve got them all top and bottom of it is she was wanting to know my business and I fell in to the trap I just don’t know why people have to be so rude

How rude indeed....some people haven’t got a clue how to behave.
You've done so well with the walking. I’m afraid I’ve not ventured out in the ice other than to the supermarket yesterday and the car park was gritted  so wasn’t slippery. I had intentions of getting the wii fit out but that hasn’t happened yet.

If you want to get some steps in without leaving the house, there’s a You Tube channel called Walk at Home by Lesley Sansome. She does walking workouts but incorporates other bits in so it’s not as boring as it sounds.
