Morning all. All children are out the house today at nursery and school. So going to tackle the bedroom. I have ordered a craft trolley to tackle my crafting mess too. I will get on top of the house this year!£2021 in 2021... £253.86/£202110

Good morning!
Ninja kitty was awake and meowing & scratching at the door at 5am. DH got up at 5:45 and I fell back to sleep. Woken by DD2 at 7:30 as I had agreed to drop her at work. I put on my running gear, and went for jog/walk at the country park - it was a bit muddy!! Back now, and I have had breakfast. I am going to check the bank accounts & then go and shower.
Today needs to be a paperwork and life admin day, with a bit of flying thrown in for good measure! I have a few things that I need to do (large frogs!) that when they pop in my head make me go cold with anxiety. They are not necessarily big things, but it makes me anxious that I haven't done them. I need to take control and DO, and not procrastinate any more!!
Have a good day everyone. Hugs to those that need them, esp Dancemum & Narc0

Hello.
Just about to finish dailies. I have done first work shift and taken DH to docs. Not going to walk the dogs today as it's too icy.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
I cleaned the shower while I was in there - including scrubbing the tiles with an old toothbrush. Sloshed some drain cleaner/unblocker down when I had finished, and that has been rinsed now. Towels are in the WM. Vac'd the LR, but not much else achieved. The day is escaping me again!
The kitten has been a bad boy and chewed through DH's phone charger lead. He has also had a go at his tablet lead! They are both less than a month old!!
I am going to start dinner (spag bol) and put the towels in the TD. Then I WILL sit at my laptop and clear some admin!! Car is booked in for a service, so that is one thing off my list (they called me, so I can't really take credit for that!!)9 -
Afternoon all. Very quiet on here today!
Yesterday I took down all our indoor Christmas decorations and this morning I put them away in the loft. The outdoor lights are still up, and the coloured ones are still on - brightening up a day of freezing fog, brrrr!!! Everything is tidy, so it will be a quick job to clean all through the house when I eventually summon up enough energy. Hopefully tomorrow... I have spent a couple of hours sitting at my desk, trying to track down some Biggles books that my grandson wants for his birthday; they are out of print so he will have to have secondhand copies. I've also ordered his and some other birthday cards online - lots of the Old Wives have birthdays in February (we used to make it an excuse to go out for a meal together, but sadly not happening this year)
I took Rosie out for her walk after lunch, but then I think I'm going back into hibernation for an hour or two now, before trying to clear more admin stuff off my list. Progress is very slow today

Busy day here
Took DD2 to osteopath this morning, then went and picked up cat food from the vet. Back home and cooked lunch using leftovers in the fridge for friend. Enjoyed several hours chatting with friend over lunch.
Need to sort out something for dinner tonight, DD1 will be home too but possibly not until later
Having friend for lunch meant I thoroughly cleaned dining room and kitchen as concious of covid and she is undergoing chemo too.
Cold and grey here so time for a cup of tea and unload DW

Had an IT issue - was actually a ID10T one *blush*.
Kitchen cleaned.
Bed made.
Tomorrow's online work ready to roll.
I have decided I will get some Sevilles and start the marmalade this weekend - I mean it's not like I'm going anywhere - other than for a SD walk with my friend who, like me, lives alone.

Bed stripped, bedding in wm and bed remade before going off to work. The deed was done - notice has been given. Very emotional.
Eventually walked home from work, and decided to stay on list - I just needed to be told what to do and follow orders. So LR has been dusted and vacuumed, the nearly dead poinsettia has been watered. It looked ok the last time I noticed it, but decidedly poorly now. HHI done once it got dark, clean washing sorted and dinner sort of prepped for when DH decides that he is finishing work (in the DR).
It’s still really cold here - the trees are still frosty and the sky is clear. If it snows in the night, I am not even attempting to go to work in the morning.10 -
Bit late today, well a lot late..lol 😆
Had a lovely zoom meeting with my support group this morning, there's only 4 of us so it was more like chit chat.
Was just getting myself a cuppa and the dog ready to go out so I could start my couch to 5k..I get a phone call from Dave who was at the Dr's for a B12 jab - my mind went into overdrive as I imagined him being cartered off by ambulance somewhere. Luckily it was my car that was causing the problem..she refused to start completely. So I got a close neighbour to take me to my car and after trying the usual tricks to get her to start it was a RAC job. 🥺 Thankfully we didn't have to wait too long, after talking to the operator it was determined D was a medical priority due to his chemotherapy. They got the car going so I could get to the garage as long as I didnt turn the engine off.. lolShe's now in the garage awaiting a new starter motor and battery recharge tomorrow, then I can have her home. I feel quite bereft with her not on my drive 🙁So got nothing done today as I was mentally shattered when I got back from the garage. And I'm on the sofa now watching Married at First Sight Australia 🙂Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Hi all
8.5 hours paid stuff done so I can finish a bit early tomorrow. Very icy out, DS and DH have both been off today so they took all the Christmas packaging to the recycling along with some other rubbish out of the shed and four bags of clothes that I am ashamed to say have been sitting on the landing for months, I sort of stopped noticing them but it looks lovely now they have gone!
Our bedroom has been thoroughly dusted and hoovered, clean washing has been put away, DS made a potato bake for tea, they all had chops with theirs, I had some Christmas nut roast out of the freezer. DS is a very good cook but very messy!
A good day, I am feeling a little less anxious. DH has been a really help through this last bout of anxiety, he understands that fussing just makes me worse and while I need some space its also nice to be asked how I feel occasionally.
Last day tomorrow then its weekend thank goodness.9
