Giving Up/Cutting Down Alcohol Thread Part 17

Bit of an odd time of year to join this challenge but I have been honest with myself recently and realise I really need to cut back. Challenging at Christmas but I guess this is practise for the new year when I plan to stop completely for a while.
So I have done two days on the trot AF (despite OH having a few drinks - very proud of myself for sticking to my guns). I am committing to 10 AF days for the remainder of this year so including those am at 2 / 10 so far. Anything more than 10 would be amazing but 10 is my minimum!
This allows me to drink at weekends, Christmas, New Year and OH's birthday - I recognise it will be difficult to stay entirely AF for all those.7 -
14/25 for me today please. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?3

Loops I laughed at the thought of you wanting to find your inner reindeer. Do you think it could be classified as a yoga position ie "happy reindeer!" Have fun with that one.

Anywobbles, 17/29 for me and a Leffe 0.0% on the cards tonight. (The best non-alc ale I've found). Other than that...er...um...not much else has happened. Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!5 -

I still haven't got round to seeing if I can sit on the floor like the reindeer, scared I'll never get up again.
See you all soon

Watty1 said:Sticking on 13/18. Feel so fed up with the ex shenanigans that may well have a glass of wine this evening (Thurs) as there is some in the fridge. I have had a couple of days where i have declared early and then not drank but today I am beyond fed up and I suspect that the cream cake I have just been out to buy will not cut it much longer. Plus accountant now chasing me due to "irregularities" in my tax papers. Seemingly he is not a fan of creative writing.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
14/20 AFDs today and 299 AFDs for 20214
