So pleased I managed to stay off the beer on Friday and Saturday night with relative ease, even though OH was drinking. Tonight has been more difficult but I knew OH didn't want to drink tonight as he has his booster tomorrow so we discussed it and agreed to support each other. So I'm calling that 5/10.
I am planning on having a drink on OH's birthday on Thursday then a few days over Christmas and at New Year but that is all.7 -
That’s a great effort Barney, well done. The really impressive thing is that you’ve sustained it over such a long stretch of years.16/19 including today please cathybird. I’ve had three non-AF days in December, which is the most I’ve had in any single month this year. Only a total of 10 non-AF days in this year to date though. I’ve a feeling we are all going to imminently be locked down, so I’ve said Yes to a couple of social things with friends. Might be the last chance I get for a while!6

15/18 Christmas event / dinner and drank water. Happy with that.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!5 -
16/20 AFDs today4

Morning all, 20/29 and 260 AFDs in a row, 309 (-ish) for 2020 so £1545 saved for the MR2 (or similar).
Snowman day (21) tomorrow!
Philosophical bit here! Now, we all have different motivators and mine (well, one of a few) is that I don't want to go back to 0 in-a-row. I won't drink over Christmas as a YabooHumbug! protest anyway so no temptation there. Will I ever, ever, ever have another drink? It's not looking likely!Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!6 -
@RobM99
Well done!
Lurking here as new to the concept....but having gone for 2 weeks straight I'm pleased to see my blood pressure has dropped. Also feeling very well hydrated as I've replaced the %$£%$ with big glasses of water.
