I'm sure you'll make a huge success of it, LL
I know what you mean about concentrating on online selling as opposed to doing fairs etc. When we had our business, DH often did antique fairs and fleamarkets alone. I was fully prepared to accompany him, but he always insisted I stay home with the dogs as they would've been way too much of a handful to take along!
He did manage ok as he'd often meet up with other dealers he'd become friendly with and they'd set up next to each other or else he got chatting with the adjacent stall holder and they'd each mind the other's stock whilst *bathroom breaks* etc were taken 😉
Still don't think I could have coped though - I still recall having to deal with shop lifters when I had my bricks and mortar fashion business when DS was young! One girl of a similar age to me came in with a toddler in a buggy and asked if she could use my facilities.....
After she'd been gone a while I went to see if all was ok - and caught her stuffing not just clothing, but my blooming spare loo rolls in the buggy as well as inside her coat, lol 😮Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

Last week my beautiful, big pink and red Pooky lampshades ❤️ arrived and - being larger - are a far better match for our vintage lamp bases than the blue pair* we bought from them last year. *These have been repurposed in the kitchen where they look absolutely perfect!
The new lampshades were a birthday gift from DH, along with two lots of Vanessa Arbuthnott fabric (for the laundry cupboard and to make a cushion for the kitchen sofa). I'm delighted with everything....but then I did choose them myself, lol!
The weather has been brilliant (if rather chilly) over the past few days - making a welcome change from all that rain! As a result I've been outside, finally doing that garden tidying and moving loads of potted allium bulbs into position, ready for planting.
I've not taken my eye off the ball inside either and - as the new upper hall walls are almost ready to plaster - I have ordered loads of LVT (Karndean and similar) flooring samples for where the POs ruined the upstairs floorboards.....grrr!
Plus my wallpaper samples arrived and we've chosen/purchased our favourite - it had a reduction of £22 per roll which was an added bonus - hopefully that will come this week 😉 Just need to get the storage sorted now, although that is under way.
Great to *see* you, Mrs_S 😊 and to hear all your house news! We have done quite a bit on the cottage, but then we've been here three years now.... you've done loads in about three months!!! Well done!
Just adding a few flower pics from the past week.....

Lovely flower pics, Phoebe. You have been busy. You put me to shame. I have been very lazy of late.Good Morning my lovely friends...
Today would have been my husbands 64th birthday. Pleased to say that whilst I still miss him of course, the real pain and grief have now subsided and I can now simply enjoy the memories of our wonderful life together. I will raise a glass tonight in his honour, celebrate his life rather than mourn his passing. All good here. Still coughing and a bit congested, feeling a bit tired and drained. That virus was a brute, it really knocked the stuffing out of me so I'm just taking things nice and easy.Just biding my time - waiting for Spring and F R E E D O M!!!! 😁12 -
Phoebe, those flowers are beautiful. Thank you for sharing them with us6
