Welcome home Mrs S. so glad your house move has gone so well. And yes, there's always more than meets the eye.......always more work (and expense) than we expect. My advice is just relax and try to enjoy the process🤣. It's good that you can move out whilst the worst of the messy jobs get done.Hello Savingmore, good to see you over here. And hello and welcome to Debsnewbudget.Well Hello My Lovely friends. What an amazing weekend. Some lovely champagne moments. It has felt so lovely to be out in the garden. I have thoroughly overdone it of course and I'm now absolutely shattered. And I will pay the price with aching muscles tomorrow. When will I learn, 😂. But in between grafting I did spend some time resting, lazing in my deckchair and soaking up the suns healing rays. It was wonderful, sun on my bones, listening to the birds.
All that hard work last year breaking up the clay has paid off and the soil is much improved. Lots of spring bulbs ready to come into bloom, should be a nice show soon. Other than that, not much news. My cold is finally almost gone and it feels so good to be well again. I have even got back into my groove for proper cooking. The weather doesn't look great next week so I am aiming to put the final bits and pieces together to get my little business launched. I reckon my er hem "Spring collection" will be ready to go by Easter. Still no website yet, but I have decided rather than wait until everything is "perfect" technology wise. I am going to just get started by using existing selling platforms, such as EBay, Etsy and Vinted. It takes a lot of the stress out of retailing for a novice like me. My aim is to start slowly and build up gradually, hopefully less likelihood of failing that way. It's going to be very much a learning curve.I am extremely fortunate, this is only meant to be little fun lifestyle business. It doesn't have to fund my living expenses, my pension income is sufficient for my day to day needs. Any money earned will be "fun money". So I can enjoy even more champagne moments. 🥂🤞10 -

Hello my lovely friends. It occurred to me that I have to be very mindful of obeying the rules and not use this site to promote my business. I am not sure if What I am about to say means I would be contravening site rules but I suggest that, once I'm ready, if anyone wants to take a peak then if you want to PM me we can exchange contact details. Hopefully that way I am not abusing my posting privileges and taking advantage of this site.Tbh I have chatted about it because I am so excited, not to tout for business. But of course you are welcome to browse .......either just for nosiness sake or to maybe give me some feedback.8

xMy late husband and I used to dabble in antiques and collectibles and had always intended to start up a little business in our retirement. Alas it wasn't to be. But nearly 7 years after his death I have thought well why not give it a go......😁.However it takes two to manage a stall at an antique fair or festival. I just don't think I could handle it alone which is why I decided to concentrate on clothing so I could do it online.Anyway I can but try.....if I fall flat on my face at least I gave it my best shot. 😉9 -

xI've just spent 25 minutes on the phone to PayPal trying to sort out a mess I'd got myself into. The man I spoke to was very nice, very patient with me. 😁I bet he thought poor old woman......can't keep up to date with modern life, 😂5
