Positive thought for today:
What happened in the past is done with - it is the actions you take next that will shape the rest of your life (Katie Piper)7 -
Love that one SUgarbaby. So true as well. It's one of my current mantras.I am so done with the past. I have put all the grief and loss behind me now and am busy making plans for a new and more exciting future. I am asking the universe for health, joy and happiness (and maybe a bit more wealth if the universe can spare it😂).DIL has invited herself over tomorrow with the babies, whilst DS has to give a big zoom presentation from home. We decided it was best not to risk any interruptions so he could come over "all professional" and make a good impression. 😂. It's a big day for him, career wise, so anything I can do to help.It means I have to change my plans for today. I had planned to photograph some garments and write up content. I don't mind, it can wait. I am going to pop out to Aldi, do a mini shop and buy some treats for them. Then later a leisurely bath, some beautifying treatments and then settle down with Line Of Duty. I need to watch the first episode again so I can (hopefully) understand what's going on. 😉7

I'm another one who had to watch the first episode of Line of Duty to actually understand what was going on!
Excited as my friend and her husband are coming over on Tuesday for coffee and cake in the garden. The weather forecast looks great. I have, today, made a simnel cake. I don't mind admitting that it isn't half bad. I will serve it on Tuesday.Debt free and Keeping on Track5 -
Thanks Mrs P 😊
Love your mannequin, LL 😃 Rather more sophisticated than the pair had when I had my first proper bricks and mortar shop (opened shortly after graduating in 1989) - they both had absolutely mahoosive curly wigs!
When DS was four and into Peter Pan DH used the wig as a prop to dress up as Captain Hook at the themed birthday party we hosted at our house. I painted an almost lifesize mural of the Peter Pan characters on our conservatory walls (the house was also a project so the room was going to be redone afterwards 🙄). When DH burst into the room in full pirate garb, black curly locks flowing and brandishing a plastic sword half the party guests burst into tears, lol!!!
I'll try and find an old pic.....Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

Make the most of Tuesday as it back to 10° from Thursday !!
LL good luck with your clothing venture, and enjoy your family visit. I hope to finally see my daughter on good Friday not seen her since before christmas. Luckily I'm off that day in on the sat and Monday though.
I hope you all have a good Easter. XFocus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.6 -
Here you go.....excuse the poor quality of old fashioned photos from an album, lol!Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

Phoebe the photos are fantastic. The mural is great as is your husband as Captain Hook6

LL as a reformed eBay addict and former seller - consider lighting. DIY lamps or locations make a massive difference. I used to light it with loads of lamps and white backgrounds. It does not need to cost a penny but experiment. It makes a massive difference in sales.6
