My Champagne moments:
On Wednesday I went to the mental health and wellbeing discussion group at Blackfriars Settlement. It was another lively discussion.
Yesterday, I went to the Cococure restaurant near Aldgate bus station to have a meal with my son. I had a Groupon that had only cost me £11.24 for food and 2 soft drinks worth £32.83. We had fiery chicken wings, fries, and chicken skewers. The food was enjoyable, but nothing special.
Yesterday evening I went to The Savannah restaurant near Clapham North underground station for Karaoke. It is a Carribean restaurant, so I bought a takeaway meal near the end of the evening to try their food. I sang 5 of my usual songs at Karaoke and I got a couple of compliments about my singing. There were more talented singers there than me and the music the DJ played throughout the night had me doing lots of dancing sitting down. All in all, I had a great evening out.
Today was one of the Neighbourhood Voices regular Saturday sessions with Ola and Kirk Anne. 4 hours of talking, writing stories in 3 minutes or 5 minutes and working in small groups, was really good. It really got my creative writing skills going.I did my final draft of my duologue and emailed it to Alisha.

It is nice to read all the lovely champagne moments.:)
I had a great time in Cardiff, it is a nice place and the concert was really good. I liked the venue too and would definitely go there back there again. It was a flying visit and it was tiring with all the travel. I only took a couple of pics as we watched a lot of the World Cup while we were there! That was Cardiff Bay in the early morning as we went to watch the Wales game.

Sugarbaby, lots of lovely champagne moments there 😊
Wednesday, sounds like you had a good time in Cardiff - great pics 😁
It's the first day of Advent, so we took the morning off to go and buy our real Christmas tree 🎄 🌲 🎄 Although it won't be going up for a few weeks yet, we wanted to ensure we got a nice tall one which usually seem to be the first to sell out 🙄 I was pleasantly surprised with the prices of trees in our local garden centre!
After lunch it was back to work - DH prepped the wiring for the ceiling light in the extension and is now plastering the ceiling, whilst I've also been working on something lighting related - cleaning up a vintage candle chandelier which we bought at auction for £12 when we lived in the West Midlands. It's getting new (light blue) candles and will hang over the Christmas dinner table ☺️4 -
Thanks guys.
I didn't realise until I got there that Cardiff Bay and Tiger Bay were one and the same.
Liberty Lily - I really want a real tree one day.
I've had my xmas decorations and artificial tree up since mid November. I got overexcited this year in the new house.☺️2025 GOALS

Today's champagne moment - earlier in the week I found a large Ikea Besta shelving unit plus a smaller matching one on ebay for just £15 (would retail at £175 for the two!) in as new condition. Locally located so DH collected on his way home yesterday. They match our existing wall of besta storage (with doors) in the upstairs hallway and perfect for my overflow books till we do something more permanent in one of the bedrooms 😄
Last night we put the larger one together and today I've been positioning the shelves/filling them 😊6
