It is a really lovely day here too.

Liberty Lily - it looks great.

Helen - I love living near the sea.

I was thinking that I used to get a sinking feeling on Sundays because I must associate Sundays with having to go to church and having to go to school or work the next day even though I obviously don't have any of these on Monday anymore! Since moving here I associate Sunday with going to the beach! I'm 46 so I must have felt this way for ages and it is so nice to finally not get that feeling of dread.

I just got the kitchen door done which is a relief.:) That will help with the cold weather, hopefully.

hi just checking in after busy times champagne moment yesterday was a trip to the cinema to see Mrs Harris goes to Paris, enjoyed the film.
After a very careful month my utility bills £75.93, so with my £66 back I've hardly paid anything, still over £600 in credit

Beautiful pics of your granddaughters and great-granddaughter, Sugarbaby ☺️ It looks - and sounds - as though you had a super celebratory time with your family!

My champagne moments this weekend -

The website with one of the crewelwork cushions for the living room had 10% off so I ordered that yesterday 🙂

It's been mostly sunny, so between assisting DH (who's been doing stonework on the old extension frontage) and boring household stuff, I've spent lots of time out in the covered part of the courtyard, sprawled on the sofa, reading...I also ordered three new bargainicious books (two historical novels and a biography of Rossetti I don't have) on ebay.

I also had a lovely long chat on the phone with DS 😍

Having recently cleared the last of the larger furniture items we no longer require, today we sold the final small (Art Nouveau) table. Just a few odd bits to go now.

Tonight I'm cooking a favourite supper - smoked haddock with cauliflower cheese - which we'll eat whilst watching the Strictly results show 😋
