I admit I have the urge to buy under control. I can admire products but no temptation to purchase so half way there. However, I have a slowly diminishing stock pile that eant to use really to look nice and for mental health benefits, who does not want to feel better with the confidence a bit of make up brings.
I need inspiration. Most of the youtubers I wanted are so sold out with product placement, it makes QVC seem like a documentary. Every post some do is sponsored with multiple sponsored posts. It is great they are obeying the law and displaying sponsors it makes finding a truly entertaining and inspiring voice to inspire using the make up harder. New year renewed motivation!
I don’t watch You Tube “beauty gurus” because the size of their stash made me feel sick. I like watching Project planners because they are mindful of the excess of their stash and make good use of it. All the inventory videos are going up now and help me realise that mine is in check. Some of those numbers are overwhelming. The trick with QVC Is to realise that they can only sell to one demographic. There’s no point in them trying to shift stock that won’t sell hence it becomes “the same old same old”. The only good thing about QVC is the pricing can be good on TSV items and if you don’t like a product you can return it.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
Happy New Year everyone. VALM - hope your hangover is passing.
Thanks. I’m good now. Have started my traditional Dry January.

Max Factor Facefinity 3 in 1 Foundation - this has been my preferred winter foundation for quite a few years but they have changed the formula now and by all accounts it is rubbish in comparison. I have one bottle of the old formula left but for now I am moving onto the freebie MAC Studio Fix.

I used to frequent this group years and years ago (pre children and back under my old username!). I feel like 2021 is the year I need to get back in control of my stash and start using it up! I can’t even accurately list it all as it’s dotted around my house in an incredibly disorganised fashion 🙈 consequently I end up buying things thinking I need them when actually I have a couple somewhere in the house already!
So my focus will be on not buying anything else, and using up as much as possible! I’ll try and amalgamate my stash into one location and hopefully I will be organised enough to write a proper list over the next few months!
I have UU two items this morning. Loved them both and will definitely buy again when I need to replace shampoo and scrubs (it won’t be for a while 🙈):
UU 1. Dead Sea Collection hemp and coconut lime mineral salt scrub
2. Body Shop Fuji Green Tea scrub
MFW 1 Nov 2020 @ £42,204 to go in 34 months! (£1,241 a month) 1 March 2021 @ £35,047 to go in 30 months (£1,168 a month) MFW 2021 #3 - £6,600/ £17,500
Simple list for this month while I go through the other stuff I’ve got. There’ll be a few give aways too this month as I will clear some of the stuff I won’t use.
