Well, this PCN has been cancelled and I had this reply from Steve Clark to confirm it:I have been in dialogue with CPP and they have agreed to cancel the specific PCN as a gesture of goodwill - please can you advise the motorist accordingly - I note from MSE that you have PM’d him.
CPP have also supplied the site plan and in my opinion, there is ample signage which indicate the requirement to pay for parking. I expect you to hold an alternative view of course.
There is a bigger picture here for 2021 that I am also following up with both Trade Bodies. Shame that there is no-one 'like us' on the NHS Programme Board so I have to go through those who are known to be on it. An NHS policy decision needs to be made to exempt people from parking charges for having a COVID jab (whether at an NHS centre or a random church, stadium, retail park or wherever) IMHO.
If it doesn't happen...we should all encourage affected people to go to the national media.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Totally agree and we'll done to everyone who has assisted in this disgraceful case during a global pandemic
England is being victimised compared to other nations in the UK due to it not being free to park when on official business
The fact that many non NHS locations are earmarked for covid vaccinations is very worrying due to these locations starting to generate PCN sI bet Steve Clark will be annoyed if he receives a private £100 PCN in the post a week or two after his COVID19 jab , if he complies with the covid parking marshals on these sites and leaves promptly afterwards !!the signs do not reflect any of the new issues we face as a country !!4 -

For every PCN cancelled for 'goodwill' (and yes I am pleased it was cancelled and fully expected it to be, truth be told) there are a thousand others. The sector is not just an embarrassment to this country but a harassing parasite industry where most of them simply need to be closed down.
Make no mistake: ANPR is not for 'rich data', or 'security' or the 'customer experience' or any other benefits they all bleat about.
ANPR in the hands of parking firms is used for ONE THING = issuing PCNs without checks, and getting the registered keeper's data without giving the driver a chance to appeal. ANPR firms know that keepers (especially lease firms and elderly people worried about the ''fine going up'') often just pay without question and they know that people can't prove that the cameras are not sychronised, and will have no evidence 2 or 3 weeks after the non-event.
And these firms lie about the statistics of PCNs issued, in podcasts and customer pitches, etc. I heard a podcast, heard the lie.
As well as ANPR being heavily restricted and the timings synchronised at last (if not, the system needs banning) the fake debt recovery lot need to go. Drive them out by removing the money sloshing around. It's an easy answer.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I took my Outlaws for their Covid jab last year.
There was a chap in a high viz jacket at the car park entrance directing motorists, but It was still utter chaos. People were waiting in their cars for a space to appear. People were dropping off passengers then driving out to park in the street.
People were milling around using walking sticks, walking frames, wheeled walkers, wheelchairs, and mobility scooters, many of which had to be left in parking spaces whilst people were transferred from and to their vehicles.
There were cars large and small, a community bus, and a private ambulance.
My car has a disabled ramp that takes up even more room than the car itself, so cones had to be moved for me to get in and unship it to get my Uncle/FiL out and in.
I know there are signs in that car park, but it was so busy that I did not see a single one.
Bear in mind these vaccination stations are not at local GP surgeries where people know the layout, the parking regime, and to whom they can complain if they get a scamvoice.
Being a regular on this forum, I know what to look out for in a car park, but most people don't.
I say again, even though I know there are signs in that car park, I could not see a single one.
Not when I drove in, turned round, got out to move cones, reversed in to the disabled area, got out again and unshipped the ramp, not whilst my Lovely Cousin helped her Dad and I helped her Mum over to the building entrance, not when I stowed the ramp, got back in and drove out of the car park.
I repeated the process an hour later when I went back in the car park to collect them all.
I did not see signs that I know are there.
Mr Clarke is talking absolute borax. Even if there is ample signage (which is not in Mr Clarke's knowledge because I guarantee he has not visited that specific site, or any other for that matter) it would not, could not have been seen if the conditions at the site are anything like the one I visited.
If Mr Clarke put those words in a signed statement of truth and submitted it to a court, I believe he would be guilty of a criminal offence.
I shall be taking my Outlaws back to the same site tomorrow for their second jab. I am under no illusion that conditions will he the same.
I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

How arrogant can Mr Clark be in such a severe crisis like covid.Fruitcake said:

Wake up Mr Clark, the signs are irrelevant ....... don't you understand what government is saying, a reminder for you .... KEEP YOUR DISTANCE ? and that now means queuing outside shops etc.
If you were a responsible person, I don't think you are, you would be telling your membership to add a further 1 hour to allow for this. Your dogmatic attitude is appalling and you are NOT fit for purpose
And to say "I expect you to hold an alternative view of course." ????
You do of course realise that you are talking to the majority ? You are in the minority
A sad response indeed, when will you behave as a professional ?3 -
Indeed
S Clark, your continued defence of your members in the face of predatory behaviour is reprehensible.
You should not be a yes man to your members
There is no "good will" in this case, just a simple embarassment at being caught out.6
