@Laura_Elsewhere, your skirt looks very comfy! I'm sure you'll have lots of wear out of it. I love needle cord but I've never tried to make anything.

Hi everyone - been otherwise engaged with family stuff. Hope you're all ok.

DH gave me a £20 Primark voucher as a belated present - bought two pairs of shoes from Primark  and a set of crop-top-style bras to replace those which had given up the ghost. Do these come off my coupon tally or his? Thanks.

That's up to your conscience but I'd say they come off your coupon tally, not his.  If he brought the items directly, then it would come off his coupon tally.

In my knitting news, I've reached the armpits on my jumper and about to start on the sleeves.  Four balls left of yarn, so I might actually have enough.  (The body/skirt plus swatching took 5 balls.)  Why I only bought 9 balls of this yarn back in 2012 is beyond me.

Tonight, though, I really must pick up and knit the collar of my previous project, "When You're Off Duty" and sew in the sleeves. It's been sitting there for months. I plan to use the leftover black yarn on the feet of my latest sock project (another pair of my "use-em-up's") and I will reach the point where I must swap yarns tomorrow.  We're going to the cricket Test Match at the Oval.  (If you see a woman sitting in the front row knitting on a sock, that'll be me.)

The next big loom knitting project is complete!!
Finished it yesterday, and I think very apt for welcoming September, and all the joys that autumn weather brings.

@dreamyd, I'm going to disagree with @PipneyJane (in a friendly, polite sort of way ) and say perhaps your DH donated a few coupons to you? I'm not at all sure if that was possible though, and suspect PipneyJane is right.

@dreamyd If it were me, I would consider the items purchased as 'gifted to me' and wouldn't consider it to be my coupons. As I consider buying the voucher being his purchase, and he's effectively just 'put money behind the bar' for you to use, or not any different to him having bought you those items himself - if that makes sense.
