I'm waiting to pick up a relative from an appointment. It was going to be at least an hour so googled charity shop near me and followed the instructions with sheer glee. It. Was. An. Office. Never been so betrayed. #dramaqueen

I have 3 Fiorelli bags. Not cheap to buy new. I got them cheap, 13 years ago when my local House of Fraser had a closing down clearance sale. Excellent quality and long lasting. I always keep my eyes peeled in charity shops for this brand. Lucky Mum.

I've had several moments recently where I've found items in a charity shop that I know I did own, anything up to 20 years ago and I'm like OMG. My full on late teens/early 20s kind of things, like old style labelled New Look dresses and tops, just, surreal lol.

Today required an impromptu purchase of a replacement coat for DD. I don't drive, she's 3.5yrs and walks with me to and from DS's school and her nursery every day, she needs a thinner waterproof coat right now as weather is still kinda warm but there are rain showers and a breeze (so a big padded winter thing is too much, I have one in the cupboard for that) and she had a great Tesco one, unitl there was no sign of it this morning at all. It came home attached to my hangbag, or at least that's where it was on the way home, I'm not sure if it was still there when we got in, anyway, this morning, nada.

So after subjecting the poor child to her pre-school booster vaccines (a big jab in each arm) we quickly crossed the road and thankfully found a nice Matalan one for £2 *phew* and a child's Frozen umbrella, that was all she was good for, straight home for Calpol, cuddles and cake.
