You're a braver person than me. As tempting as multiple switching bonuses were, and multiple sets of recurring rewards are, I resisted the urge on this one. I try not to be the most egregious of rate tarts, especially if it requires some unusual extra steps.Although, having said that, it didn't stop rbs group from showing me the "commercial decision" door at one point. But I digress.0

funkycredit said:Agreed with above. I have 3 and still get the £5 x 3 monthly. I just pay one lot of £500 into my main credit card then the other two I deposit £500 into post office savings to meet the 3 lots of criteria.
I opened a Reward account last autumn for the switch bonus. I also had a sole and joint non-Reward account which I converted to Reward accounts. I signed up for the £500 DC spend on all last month and met the criteria although I didn't check the tracker. This month I received 2 x £5 rewards and on chat they tell me the third wasn't paid because you're only allowed 2 reward accounts.
Should I have received 3 x £5? I'm tempted not to rock the boat but feel diddled if others have got more than me0 -

NB: I think you are right about rocking the boat. "I want some 'cos he had some" is not normally a valid argument and might well result in everybody losing.3 -

The 'others' that have more than 2 being paid were likely opened while it was legal to have 3 solo reward accounts.
And as these were opened legally, and maybe not many left, Halifax may have chosen to allow them to continue.
'New' 2+ multples have broken the terms that applicants signed up to, and so maybe treated differently.
Or as Colsten says.. CS incorrect; ensure you qualify this month, checking the tracker.3 -
Thank you both for your replies.
I'm not going to say to say others are getting it why can't I to CS (I've read the regular saver thread).
I looked back through my transactions and paid in £1500 and DC payment both in Feb. One odd thing is that the first CS agent said I hadn't received it because the £1500 needs to stay in the account for at least one day. I asked where in the terms it stated this and another agent came back and said I'm only allowed 2 accounts.
The tracker for Mar shows all three accounts qualify (and I've kept a screenshot) so I'll wait and see what happens next month I guess.
To be honest the bit about only allowing 2 accounts is hidden away in the bank account guide PDF, I can't see it in their formal terms and conditions.0 -

The tracker for Mar shows all three accounts qualify- what date did your £1,500 go in
- what date did your £500 go out
- was your balance below £0 on any day in February?

2. 19th Feb
3. No
The other two accounts had £1500 or more go in on days not the 1st Feb. The £500 DC isn't the issue because one of the other accounts was a £500 DC to the same credit card. It's odd, perhaps it is to do with the payment then transfer on 1st? Having said that I've done the same this month and I've got ticks on the tracker.
... or perhaps it's because I put in the £1500 into the account BEFORE I converted the account to a reward account? That would explain it.2 -

I had - wrongly! - assumed you had been paid the £5 on all 3 accounts before.
Glad you found a perfectly reasonable explanation now. It should be plain sailing from here onwards.0
