Ps. I can't believe how well my tulips are doing. I normally only manage four or five days but I've had them now 9 days and they are still going strong. From now on, I shall do the newspaper thing before I arrange them.8

I like the pendants Wednesday. They're unfussy enough to wear with any outfit so wouldn't need keeping 'for best'. 😊 I was reading an article about Prue Leith's new house today and she has a sort of tree sculpture on her wall to hang all her chunky, funky necklaces and a rack made from rolling pins for her bracelets.
I'm pleased the fish and chips were a success pixie. I think the Prime Minister is speaking to parliament about 3.30 p.m. tomorrow and then doing one of those earnest talks to the nation about 7 p.m. It's good that the vaccine programme is proving successful but I can't see people accepting ongoing restrictions at the same time. Of course it's public spirited to protect the NHS but I think people will expect some personal freedom too as a result of having been vaccinated. It seems that many countries and also airlines will be expecting some sort of vaccine passport too so that's another decision to be made alongside the 'no jab, no job' debate.
Chilli is definitely better after it's had time for all the spices to marinate sugarbaby. I love the Hairy Bikers' recipe and I sometimes add extra veg pulses and leave out the meat completely. We're not vegetarian but it tastes brilliant and very healthy. 😋 Another Hairy Bikers' recipe for us today, their braised steak. I think you're a bit of a hero balancing different requests for meals pixie. It's no wonder you welcomed a night off. 😊9 -
A photo of my daffodils now starting to bloom in the Beleek vase.Debt free and Keeping on Track6

That vase is really gorgeous Mrs Porridge and the embroidered cloth.😊 I've put my daffodils in an old jug. I like a vintage look. I think it suits my old house.

I've been trawling ebay looking at Beleek vases MrsPorridge! I don't really need another vase but yours is so different from any I have. Almost all my vases are vintage either inherited or from CS or just 'in the style of'.
Clever you doing the embroidery. Was it a one off or a regular hobby? 🤔7 -
Its a regular hobby, embroidery and hand piecing quilts. Needless to say I have done a lot more than I usually would this last year! I have several pieces of Beleek that Mum left me when she died.Debt free and Keeping on Track6

That's even better to have inherited the Beleek. It has a history and happy memories. 😊
What sort of things do you embroider, other than lovely tablecloths? 🤔6 -
If it moves I embroider it! Traycloths, bags, pillowcases, cushions etc. I also do machine embroidery on my clothes.Debt free and Keeping on Track7
