Hello Ladies,
I had my 3rd Covid vaccination today. I am hoping that if I feel any side effects of the vaccination they will be fairly mild as per my 2 previous vaccinations.6 -
Oh good Sugarbaby, hope you feel okay.xxx I have my flu jab on Wednesday. I think I will ask about my third Covid jab while I'm there.
I dyed my hair chestnut and wasn't sure if I liked it at first! Such a shock after so many years of having my natural colour. I went out this morning for my one hour walk (I need to get daylight for fibro and my mental health) and I got so many men beeping their horns or saying hello to me.
I think I just act more confident with dark hair, I had forgotten. Definitely keeping it darker. Lol. People that I worked with before have commented on the reaction I get with dark hair. I have lost weight too and I was wearing a nice outfit that didn't fit me previously.
I dyed some tops pink yesterday and I'm going to do the same with the red fabric dye that is arriving today.
Next week I have to go to the optician as the glasses I bought don't fit properly, I have my relatives calling me for a catch up and then the flu jab. I am going to book a massage too.
I am going out next weekend, maybe to a Shisha bar. I've never been so would be interested to go to one.

Oh yes, update on house move. The people we are buying from can't find a house! They keep wanting properties but they are being snapped up. Our searches have been done and the person buying our house has the mortgage approved.
My friend said maybe the people we are buying from should offer to rent before they buy if the chain on our side is going through? Any advice?2025 GOALS

Wednesday I think you probably need to start putting some pressure on the people you are buying from. Appreciate its not easy for them, but you may end up loosing your buyers if it takes too long. Maybe you need to give them a deadline to exchange.

We were talking about it and we think we will say something when the person buying our house is closer to being ready. I didn't think they would take this long as we bought and sold in two weeks. They are moving out of the area too but further away. My friend said if we and the buyer for our house are ready and the people we are buying from aren't we could suggest that they rent in the area?
I am so sick of this hot weather! I want it to be Autumn. I just went for my daily walk and it is still dress and sandals weather here.
I didn't do the red dye, forgot about that. I have the flu jab tomorrow morning and then the optician so I might look around the charity shops in the area for some clothes to dye.
I was thinking about getting laser surgery on my eyes. Someone called me back about it and said it was about £2,000 per eye. I will shop around and that is also something that I will only be able to afford after we move.

II do hope you get something sorted with your house move @Wednesday2000. You're OK as long as your own buyer isn't putting pressure on but it would be good to discuss contingency plans with the vendor of your proposed property. It's still very quiet next door We're going to find it strange when someone moves in as the house has been empty for almost 2 years. There has been (another) Sold notice up for some weeks now but no sign of anyone moving in.
It's still warm and sunny here too but I' far from sick of it . The longer it lasts the less cheated I feel about Awful August.
I am preparing for the cooler weather though. While it's still good for line drying I'm working my way through jumpers so that they're fresh for the winter. Today I've done some lighter colours, just one needed hand washing. Tomorrow I plan to do darker shades. I'm doing some summer dresses too so that they can be put away.
And the good news is that I've found a new duvet coat! I got it in TK Maxx at the weekend. It's hanging up at the moment but I'm pretty sure it's a keeper. Some might call it beige! 🤣 I'[m pleased because it's longer than my black one and has a hood.
We had a bit of a scare yesterday as DH has had a sore throat and a chesty cough coming on for a couple of days so decided to get a PCR test just in case. Fortunately it came back negative and we're so relieved. It felt like the most responsible thing to do to protect our friends and family as DH hated the idea that he could be accidentally spreading the virus around. Hope you don't have after effects from your booster vaccine @sugarbaby125. I expect you're in the early group because of your health problems. 🤔
I'm dancing again tonight. I will wear a summer skirt but I'm leaning more towards the darker colours. Still no tights though! 😁5 -
Did my first shift in the pub last week and thoroughly enjoyed it - was good to meet some new people and the other staff seem really nice - tomorrow will be my second shift.
Glad to hear your tests came back negative maman - hope your DH feels better soon.
I had laser surgery on both eyes back in 1998 Wednesday - it was only £750 per eye then and it is the best money I have ever spent - I went from being close to registered blind in my left eye to -0.5 and my right eye, which wasn’t quite so bad, ended up as +0.5. I do now need glasses for reading but my distance vision is still good over 20 years later.5 -
Hello Ladies,
Maman the side effects I am experiencing are pain in my left arm, painful swollen lymph nodes and fatigue. I even gave Karaoke a miss yesterday evening as I still need to conserve my energy and have as much rest as possible until all of my side effects have completely gone.5 -

Oh, that is helpful thanks Sukey. Did you get both eyes done at once? I was thinking about getting my bad eye done first and then the other one afterwards.
Hope the side effects wear off soon sugarbaby x5
