Well the house is spic and span. The lady was very polite and asked a list of questions that  I would probably have asked.  All very positive but I just don't get the same vibes as the previous guy.  Maybe I will be wrong, who knows.  Either way we have a very clean house and I hope to sleep well tonight.

Lots has happened in the last week it feels like a bit of a whirl wind.  Mums had the wake for her OH, and my sister was visiting and sorting things for her.  Yesterday was my birthday and the day was ok, my dad took us out for a lovely meal, best friend ended up in A&E last night and this morning my brother announced his wife and daughter are moving out as they are splitting.  Then we obviously had the viewing.  Crazy week and I feel for all of the relatives and friends are struggling at the moment.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that the rest of the year improves for them all

Thank you DFW, there have certainly been some major events going on this week.  Best friend came round last night out of the blue and stayed until her daughter was finished at work.  She is a tough cookie with so many ailments, that this seems to be just 1 more added to her list and is doing ok but I know she puts on a brave face even when in pain.  We had a slice of birthday cake and all 3 children came to chat as they love her.  It was lovely.

I have a sneaky feeling that the lady that came round yesterday was the one lady who was almost at the point of buying the house we liked that just sold.  If so I know that she can afford it as the other one was more money, and she doesn't mind some of the older elements like the kitchen as the other house was needing full renovations over time.  Anyway any feedback will be happily received.

Right today is Art homework time.  DD2 needs to decide on her final piece for this topic and have it finished by the end of Jan.  So far she has no idea and lets people use the equipment first so has done very little, so today we will be experimenting and coming up with a plan.  I borrowed some art bits from work so that we could do this.  I might need to go buy a newspaper to put down on surfaces so we don't get ink everywhere.  So far she is not keen to get going.....I think it is going to be a long day.

Oh yes sorry I forgot to put happy belated birthday!! D'oh!
Ring EA Monday and get them to chase up feedback. Any feedback is good in case there are things putting buyers off that you can change easily.

Thank you DFW I plan on ringing in the afternoon as I have the afternoon off.  I will also try to arrange to see a couple that are possible options in the village that we would like to move to.  Worth having a look just in case.  That way we can either add them to our list or rule them out.  Both have merits and both have an issue so it will be a case of what we are willing to compromise on.

Today has been a little bit of a success, but we have still not finished the art work.  We have until Tue evening as art lesson is on wed, but we also have clubs and rehearsals on both days so time will be limited.  I think it is going to be another busy week.

The shopping has arrived and been put away so at least we have some food for the week.  Now off for a shower and to get ready for the week ahead, using my lovely smelly new shower gel DD1 bought me :)

Well I have spoken to the agent and he has had some feedback.  We are now on her shortlist and will be told in a week or so once she has been to a few more.  She loved the house and the location and the only bad thing to say was the garden was a little smaller than she would have liked.  I cant do anything about the garden really so will just wait and see.  I have booked to see the 2 on our list that are possibilities.  DD1 and I will go and see them both on Thursday afternoon and maybe get a better idea of which is best for us.  While I like the idea of having no work to do on a house once moved I am favouring the one with a nice outside space but work required to get the extra bedroom
