That is Tuesday done at work and have dropped DD2 back at school for her performance. Now to stay awake until 9 to collect her. Got engrossed in something yesterday and was almost late to collect her. Have set an alarm tonight just in case.
Nothing much gone on today that is money saving as I have been at work all day. I guess that is money saving in itself.
I took the toaster in the repair cafe on Sunday but they were unable to make it work. One side still works so I will keep going with it until that side breaks. The guy took almost 2 hours looking at it and trying to make it work, so it certainly had a good try to make it work again. They were advertising a clothes swap so will look into that a little more. Might be worth a look, Seems everyone takes in a bag of unwanted but good conditioned clothes, and then you can take a bag of clothes home. All free. Might be worth it for DD's but wonder if my large size will limit the amount of things available to me.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

I was so tired this morning and would happily have stayed in bed. I did for a little while but that meant we had less time to get out of the house. Anyway another busy day at work with plenty going on to make the time fly. I had my performance review and I think that went well. Came home after collecting DD2, then 2 hours later dropped her back at school for her performance, went to b&m to get a few bits, went straight to dance class and have just made the dinner. Bit late but that is how it is today. DD1 has kindly offered to go and collect her while I cook. Need dinner, shower and then bed.
More good news - DD1's car passed its mot today with out any advisories. She was expecting to spend lots of money, but looks like the car is ok. Next big expense will be her insurance in May.
Using some extra hours up tomorrow afternoon so only half days left this week now. Last night I saw a job that would be perfect for me and would just about tie in with this one with some jiggling. It is doing all the things I loved about previous jobs, that I haven't done since I had the children, as I've just gone for jobs that work around them. I am tempted to apply and it would mean benefits people would be happy. I don't have the qualification that it has asked for, but have done all of the work without the piece of paper to prove I can do it. It is 16 extra hours and realistically maybe 10-12 hours would be better. Will need to have a better think.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Home at lunchtime for me today and it is much needed. I did however have to then deliver the forgotten PE kit to DD2, so back to where I had just come from almost. The sun is shining which makes life better. Tomorrow is red nose day and I am pretty sure my t-shirt for it is in the loft. Next job today is to get it down so it can be washed and dry in time for the tomorrow. I also need to decorate a box to take into work for the collection. We are donating food items for the food bank and its my job to find the container.
Another performance later for DD2 so will be dropping off and collecting again. No other clubs though so that makes it a little easier. Other than that there is some clearing up and washing to get done.
Right I must get up to the loftMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

I've applied for the job so I guess if it is meant to be it will happen. If I get an interview I will be able to see if it will work and even if offered the job I don't have to take it. The closing date is tomorrow which is why I just went for it.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Good luck with getting an interview. Like you say if it's offered and you don't think it will work you can turn it.

It would mean there is a chance I would not need benefits, and that would free up my ability to save money more. I never intended on looking for something and was in fact looking for jobs for DS and this caught my eye. There is no name of the company but there is a postcode that I think is for the business, and that is only a 5 min walk away. I would be able to work from home some of the time too.
I need to have a better look at finances and do the sumsMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
