The landlord can of course serve notice, but the chances of them getting you out within 6 months of the end of the AST is minimal. If you're an otherwise reliable tenant then they'd be foolish to do so.

So I received an email to my SAR from Link Parking. It contained all photos of the vehicle taken in the parking bay, the signage, the actual PCNs and the NTKs.
Is this any use, I don't know why this is asked for tbh?
Also, as mentioned last week I had acknowledgment of my defence from CCBC on the 12th, and that gives 28 days for the claimant to respond which I make 9th Feb. I'm waiting on the DQ, but I take it I have nothing else to file / do until I receive this?
Thanks again for all your assistance so far0 -
Is this for definite? I have a 12 month AST and the landlords won’t go onto a monthly but insist I renew for another 12?
No, a periodic tenancy has to be agreed mutually. If the landlord wants a further 12 months contract and you do not you are free to seek accommodation elsewhere.
I suggest that you seek further information on a landlord/tenant forum, we specialise in parking scams. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2 -

Thanks again for all your assistance so faryou asked for it in order to have copies of every pcn and every photo , plus signage if they included it, so you can check for compliance with the law and the CoP and look for anything to your advantage, knowledge is power, so its a case of checking their paperwork and photos and signage against legal topics you may want to come up in court, plus so they cannot ambush you with documentation or photos at the last minuteyou are gathering your evidence, graduallymeanwhile keep checking MCOL to see whan MCOL have posted out the DQ and checking the claim history for any otehr developments. treat MCOL as read only, providing you with weekly updates until they have your completed DQ by emailthen they send it all to your local nominated court3 -
Had a letter from BW yesterday which was an "Intention to Proceed" saying they had my defence and was still going to take me to court unless I contacted them before 1st February with a payment in full or agree an instalment plan. I filed it with the rest of the paperwork with no intention to communicate with them!1

The second part is that I filed (in my own document folder) their letter as I have no intention of contacting them to pay or set up any kind of plan. Just waiting on my DQ as my next step.0 -
Yep, usual rubbish from BW.3
