UKPC - Parking Charge for overstaying

Yes completely agree - makes the case stronger if it does get any further. I do have the email from DTZ senior surveyor.beamerguy said:
As long as you have a paper trail saying it will be cancelled, that's the main thing.HardDoneBy62 said:
Not yet! DTZ Investors will arrange for it to be cancelled. At the moment I am not taking anything for granted until I get confirmation it is cancelled.beamerguy said:Well one, you have been told by UKPC it will be cancelled.

Doubt DTZ would want to go to court as your witness0 -
So I have replied to DTZ thanking them for quick response and for them to confirm when the PCN has been cancelled by UKPC. Being holiday period I don't expect to receive anything until after the new year. I am also inclined to appeal to UKPC with a simple statement to say the client has requested this PCN to be cancelled and that they should now follow the instructions and confirm cancellation. I can attach a PDF copy of the email from DTZ with this (if their website allows). What do you think? Is this the right approach or should I stick to the template appeal and send that off. I don't want to do nothing just in case...0

UKPC have wasted your time, nor consider wasting theirs, read this,

Before firing anything off to UKPC, just go to their website where you can check the current status of your PCN. Some PPCs are efficient at writing to motorists to confirm cancellations, UKPC do sometimes, but I'd check the website - might save you an email. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I still have time for that, so first I have emailed carpetright customer services and their CEO as I spent a frustrating half hour with the store manager on the phone and he was adamant there was nothing he could do. Yet the email from Cushman (managing agents for DTZ) have clearly stated "each store has the ability to add you onto their list of exempt vehicles for that day". Halfords who are next door also confirmed they can do this after the event - in case they had forgotten to add a car to the exemption - as long as they have proof they can send. Carpetright have my written quotation they can use as evidence that I was in the store. I would like to see how carpetright respond to the email first.Coupon-mad said:I am also inclined to appeal to UKPC with a simple statement to say the client has requested this PCN to be cancelled and that they should now follow the instructions and confirm cancellation. I find it difficult to understand why the CEO employs an idiot to be a manager
Let's face it, with the way covid is going firms like Carpet Right will go bust, not the sort of product you buy online. Carpets are not cheap and some drongo at Carpet Right prefers to support a known scammer like UKPC

Have you written bad stuff on Carpetright's's website? Have you complained to your MP?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

Happy new year folks! Sad that I am spending new year on my laptop, but thought I would pass on the good news. My email to the CEO and Carpetright customer service got their attention and the secretary from their property services department had the charge cancelled. It now appears as that on UKPC website. Thanks to all the folks here for their help and guidance.5
