Go back to the forum thread list (where you found the 'New Thread' button you used to start this thread), then scroll down a couple of inches (or whatever the metric version is!) and you will see the top five threads with a red oblong saying 'Announcement' - it's one of those.kjmpde said:it was a retail park and i still cannot find newbies thread - where about is it? i am not great with technology but there is no button or tab on my computer
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You are on page three of your own thread and you cannot click back to the first page of the forum? If you do that, can you see some announcements in pink/red boxes? One of them is marked NEWBIES read this first! If you are using a phone to navigate the forum, this could be why. Not sure that sending a link will help but just in case, here goes: -

"A retail park" is of use, however it may be even more helpful if you could say where this retail park is ( if you know)again make no attempt to guess as to who may have been driving .Also why was the vehicle issued a parking charge notice?Answers to the above will help us to help you in figuring out if a landowner complaint ( and cancellation) is worth the effort, and how to go about it.The newbies thread can be found here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822/newbies-private-parking-ticket-old-or-new-read-these-faqs-first-thankyou#latest

the retail park was in Trowbridge. Nr the Premier Inn but completely independent. operated by UKPC (Coventry) that firm has appalling reviews. The first 3 hours are free. chargeable between 9 to 5. If you arrive after 5 you can get a ticket to noon the next day. I had a ticket till noon but due to bathroom needs i had to return to the room and even though only around 11am I stupidly put another ticket on the screen (incase the bathroom tookover) . That ticket was not needed and i left around 11.40. so i could have relied on my first ticket. i exited the car park but returned after 4.10pm. Again i looked at the first 3 hours free and took a ticket but - i only read the sign the next day- that you are only allowed 1 free ticket per day. Hence the fine. A genuine error but it does state the terms on the notice board. Although an error on my part I understand the new case which determines that a fine does not need to take into account the "loss" but £100 or £60 paid within 14 days appears excessive for less than an hour of chargeable parking. . Parking Fines ltd offers to resolve tickets for £18 but whilst trustpilot has good reviews - are these genuine ?0

Don't go to a company to do this for you. Honestly, just DON'T.

£18 looks too good to be true. If something looks .....You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

As above, do not pay for someone to do this for you.Would have saved some time and effort if we had to location, using modern tools such as google maps, is this the place? From which a further trawl on google gives this:with plenty of contact details and an active facebook page, all ready to take your complaints.Remember that the principal, ie the retail park is jointly and severally liable for the actions of their agents
