The newbies thread is the sticky at the top of the parking forum called NEWBIES in big capital letters. It is quite hard to miss if you're on the parking forum main page. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -

Making an offer of £15 to cover any loss is a complete non starter, and is a dangerous mistake to make of you are short on money, as you are admitting full liability. The parking company will want the full amount as well as anything extra they can conjure up.To help us help you we will need a little more informationWho's car park was this, and what type of car park was/is it?residential - attached to a property you, or a friend reside in?retail park?shop?pub?standalone ?You said unintentional error on your part, but what was this error? You want help in not paying this, we do not want you to pay this, and we would prefer it if it would be possible to reverse the tables so they pay you .The only thing you really need to avoid at the moment is attempting to name the driver on the day - refer to the parking incident as the car entered and parked,From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"3 -
I suggest that you try to get your MP on board, but do not hold your breath, you are dealing with fraudsters, read this
