Looking back through the past couple of days of the thread, I don't think I ever said thank you for my beautiful Flylady cards, though I can remember composing the message - maybe it was just in my head and never made it to the keyboard
Thank you so much, everyone! They are displayed on the kitchen windowsill where I can enjoy the pictures and messages (and the little blue angel hovering above them
) whenever we're sitting at the table.
Various bits to get down today - last few decorations, e-cards to various friends in the UK and abroad, deliver the remaining cards and gifts locally, buy squirty cream, make brownies and mince pies, wrap presents, move money... Rosie will get an early walk because I have promised to help at church all afternoon so that families can walk through and see the crib.
Hope everyone will stop and sit down with a cuppa for at least 5 minutes at some point in the day xx

Hi all
Oh yes Valli I havent done a microwave sponge pud for ages! Good day here so far, some present sorting, a little workout, a little paid stuff. I have one more meeting then I am on holiday.
DS1 has had a letter from work giving him notice that he must return to full time hours in a month. No discussion with him about whether he can do this, and they clearly dont know that a cancer diagnosis means that you have a disability and they need to make reasonable adjustments. It has really upset him, he desperately wants to work full time like everyone else but he still gets really tired and I worry that he will get ill if he pushes himself too hard. He loves the job and works harder than other people who dont have health problems because he feels that he constantly has to prove himself.
Right going to make something for lunch then getting this meeting out of the way.8 -

Christmas cards made and finished, children's crafts put in bags to go home. I have cleaned up the craft stuff that was threatening to take over! I have packed up the Christmas craft box and will put it back in the cupboard later for another year. I had a call from my network coordinator for an hour earlier, to check on paperwork & make sure I am up to date on training, etc.
I have WULTD, put on DW & vac'd the LR.
I hope everyone is having a good day9 -

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
I am in the WAC because Poppet is, so now we all are. Going to sort out some banking then have a soak in the bath before starting my last shift for this week. Then there will be final prep for family zoom games night tonight. Also we're cooking our turkey today.
Have a great Christmas Eve everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
