Morning everyone
WAC here, but its no surprise, I had a little snooze yesterday and I think I have had my sleep quota. Up at 6.30am, doing my finance spreadsheets now.
We had a call from the Environment Agency at 5am to tell us that flooding is imminent in our village. We are quite a long way from the river and in the last 18 years it has never got anywhere near us, but its still a bit of a worry.
Food shopping delivered tomorrow, we are short of bread so might have to get the breadmaker out. Food shopping will be delivered tomorrow and I dont want to go to the shops today unless we really have to. Might run the hoover around later on too. No idea what the day brings but we really should try and get out for a walk.
Have a good Sunday everyone, thinking of Fayolle x8 -

Morning
Bright and cold here today and much less windy! Hope that you are all ok and not affected by flooding x
Ive set the wm swishing, had brekkie, a brew and a shower, the plan for today is a bit of flying, not going all out but just want to keep things ticking over so the house doesn’t descend into a midden. We have lots of time as both off work until the 04th...
Will also make the most of the dry day and get out for a walk later. Have a lovely day all xx7 -

Lovely photos Piggers.
Morning. Hope you're all ok today and that no one has flooding. Just the dailies being done here. Another rough night with DH and Poppet but DD is going to look after the dogs for a couple of days this week so hopefully I'll get some decent sleep.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Sounds like you had an amazing birthday with your beautiful family, pigpen - hope they looked after you well! Many Happy Returns!!!
I hope all Flyfriends are safe from storm, flooding, etc. It's a bad end to a bad year for a lot of people. It looks like there is a red warning in Dizzy's area, so fingers and everything else crossed that her flood defences hold.
We had a quiet afternoon and evening yesterday. Rosie was worn out after her long walk in the morning, and with our evening meal DH and I enjoyed another glass of the excellent local wine given to me by my boss, which promptly made me very sleepy, so I went to bed early and got up late this morning, having been in the WAC (with a cuppa) from 4 to about 6 o'clock. We are both still in our PJs, as I have been waiting since breakfast for DH to cut my hair, but in the meantime I have tidied a few things away, potted up the amaryllis bulbs that DD gave me, and even done a smidgen of ironing from yesterday's washing marathon.
It is a beautiful sunny day here so Rosie and I will go out for a walk before lunch. I should love to go up the big hill to the west, but I expect that car parking around there will be difficult, so maybe not. The lane behind our house is remarkably quiet - oh, but having just typed that, a van has parked opposite our house and 8 horses with riders/leaders have gone by!
Take care, everyone xx

Brilliant photos piggers xx You had a birthday too? Belated happy birthday to you xx
I'm dressed, fed the birds, put out the rubbish (managed to get it all in the bin with a bit of squishing) and recycling. First WM load is on airer and radiator; second load is swishing. I've been online and paid my gas bill and renewed my tv licence. Lunch now methinks.
One of DS's friends was flooded at Christmas - not entirely sure where she lives but it was the River Ouse that was responsible....and that was before the hoolie last night. I hope that you are all safe and dry.
Hugs
