Hi. Happy New Year to all. Can I join again please? I think an initial target of £20k is going to be realistic this year. Thanks SF!3

Hello SF, I can see I'm number 12 this year.
Please set my target at £4000.
I've set my target a bit lower, since I'm not actually counting my AVCs (I can well understand why some people do, and love it that we have the choice), and I think next year will be different for us financially.
Thanks for running it again, I enjoy reading all the posts. [Cheesecake, yum!] - it's from a post towards the end of the 2020 thread.
Going to read the MSE advice on S&S ISAs soon and open my first - excited.
Good luck with 2021 everyone.

Figured I'd get things going - starting 2021 as I mean to go on!
#38 checking in with £1,110.72 for January. I know the month hasn't really started yet - however it always starts with me paying myself before anything else, so I already know what I'm putting away. If I have any money left over this month (I keep a small amount in the budget as surplus because - life happens) - It'll get added to what I pay myself in February and so on.
Breakdown is as follows:
DD JISA - £100
DS JISA - £100
Sharesave Scheme - £156
Sharematch Scheme - £30
Personal ISA - £724.72
January total - £1,110.72
2021 total - £1,110.72/£12k
Easy update form will be updated once it's availableGood luck everyone, happy new year and happy saving!

Hi all, may I join in this year SF? I took a break last year and focused on becoming debt free (paid off £14k in 8 months) and finished the year with £22k in the bank for a house deposit. This year I’d like to save £30000, £20k towards the deposit again with a view to move in July, and £10k for savings and a holiday to celebrate DF and our first house.
Excited to get going, my budget is finalised for January so just waiting for bills to leave my account 😃2025 Mortgage start £378K 2025 Overpayment £103 Savings Challenge 2025 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**4
