  • I had fallen behind with my reporting, but I have caught up now, and I am going to go back to reporting after the month is over. Reporting at the start means that I don't feel flexible enough to be able to add to savings when I can, so I have just been reporting my regular savings and not topping anything up.

Sadly its back to minus this month for me boo hisss! Going through a change in circumstances and so we are using savings to cover the short fall.

So for #51 for August I am -£496.82 which is actually a bit more rosy than expected thanks to some stock market gains.

#25 declaring for August. £288.72. Happy enough as I’ve had a holiday away this month
  • Hello, just did the form for June and July.  Not much saved, but savings nonetheless.
I'm on maternity leave and after August, I will be reporting minus figures, so my savings will go down temporarily.  I don't think I'll hit my target.

No. 48 reporting £2,125 for August

Boosted by a small bonus at work and £25 pb win. I will add my ISA growth at the end of the year, but its look pretty good at the moment, appreciate that can all change!

Anyone else having problems getting premium bonds to take a payment or is it just me?

Off to update the form now :)

Hi @SOAPaddict12 - best thing is to go to page one and pop a form in so she sees it. And don't forget to favourite the board so you can always find it by going to your forum bookmarks.

    Good luck

Number 20 reporting £1234.15 for August. All made up from leftover salary.

I feel like I have spent SO much money this month. With it being August and a few family events I had to attend, a summer holiday and laziness I have been less careful with my money. I had my first purchase fall through so I got so disheartened and started spending more money.

My regular savers have all been closed and I am focussing on one pot instead. I still have my HTB ISA and Nationwide start to save but I am finding it easier and less overwhelming. I should be trying to save as much as possible hoping to buy a house at the end of this year. It is easier said than done! I have all deposit and fees covered as of this months pay. So I will be working on the decoration/furnishing costs now.

I am hoping to refocus and get back on track for September.
