I've had a look at my mid month review and I'm quite surprised so far. I'm currently at £926.23. £625 was from December’s salary goes into my regular savers on 1st of the month. £127 from eBay sales. £100 gift from grandmother (very very very rare and unexpected) and £73 from odd things like online surveys, receipt scanning, interest from a matured regular saver.
I'm expecting overtime to be paid this month and I should also have a little bit left over at pay day so any extra will be added to my savings. I will update fully at the end of the month

I've just opened my first ISA with Vanguard and set up a small monthly investment of £100 a month into a LifeStrategy100. I'm very excited. I know it's a tiny amount but it is a start.Debt Free: 01/01/2020

Well done to everyone so far on savings goals. January has felt a really long month to me!
Huge totals from Gem-gem and Lomcevak.
Great going from Jami to get started with saving and good work in a tough month from lantanna and leftatthetrafficlights
No. 48 reporting in for Jan with £2,100 no more or less than expected. Bonus payment next month (we get ours qtrly so wont be huge), so hope to increase that a little.4 -
Number 24: checking in with £676 for January.
More than I expected to save which Ebay sales have boosted. No: 57: Make £2023 in 2023: £501.24/£20233 -
Number 20: £1782.57 for January. This is made up of money from Dec's salary for regular savers on 1st Jan, Christmas gift money, sales on Ebay, receipt scanning, prolific, a couple of regular savers maturing and overtime from December.
The way I save is a little different. I put some away on payday and keep some back to put into regular savers on 1st of the next month. So right now I have £875 held back to put into the right accounts on 1st Feb so I will add them to Feb's total.
