    Thankyou @apple_muncher

Happy new year to you all !

We have only spent on essentials since the beginning of the year so far.

My big goal this month is too declutter. I've also already done 9 hours overtime in the last few days at Work. Hoping to add to that before the cut off for payday at the end of the month 🙏

I'm still aiming to make a minium of £10 a day extra this year but the big goal is £30 a day extra if we can

£30 extra a day would allow us to wipe all our debt by the end of the year and have a small amount for savings on op of what we can clear and save from money out of our budget.

Managed to get the pups food for £1.88 per kg instead of £2.25 per kg by buying a bigger bag and shopping around

I'm also going to track how much I fill up the car to make sure I've budgeted enough each month (I think I have)

Food shops will mainly be aldi. We started going to Mr t more the last few months and definitely spent more. I'll take the oh or eldest to help me and we will do it how we use to when we were saving up for the house deposit take a list check the cupboards before we go and use a calculator to keep us on track

No more trips to the corner shop 😱

Our one toilet is blocked ... me and oh are going to look at it later .. it has a massarator .. I refuse to pay a plumber unless we really can't sort it ourselves.

We have hardly any savings again so I need to build that back up.

Any extra money made (£10/£30 a day challenge)  is going in a tin and won't be emptied until its either full or at the end of the year this will go straight to debt

I'm absolutely determined for this year to be our last year where we have debt other than our mortgage,

  • Just chopped up 6 apples in the fruit bowl that were going soft for ds1s smoothies or for caramelised apples to go with pancakes for breakfasts or deserts. They are now in the freezer 😀

Nothing other than budgeted spends have been spent since the new year.

We need to do a food shop tomorrow 😩  I'll go through the cupboards etc before we leave and make a list

  • Morning  my beautiful diary friends.

I hope you are all well. Hugs to those that need or want them.

I haven't been well the last few days but not in the way you might expect. My mood became manic within the space of a few hours on Tuesday. Spoke to gp and I currently have to take a Lower dose of my meds throughout the day to try and bring my mood to a more stable level. One plus is I haven't left the house and I haven't spent any money which Is normally one of the things I do when  I'm like this.

Instead I've sold stuff on ebay blitzed the house and got things done. That I haven't been able to do for months . Currently I'm just extremely happy and restless so my meds must be starting to help. I'm only under gp services. But luckily I know my condition well and know when it's time to seek help. I kind of wish I hadn't phoned them because you feel do good you don't want it too end. But it hasn't ended yet even with the extra meds just calmed it abit. I do wonder what state I'd of been in if I just left it. My heart was racing so fast so it's not just mentally I could of ended up in hospital due to the physical symptoms 😢

Packing ebay items to send today and have a doctors appointment later (unrelated to my mental health)

I can cope with my cerebral palsy and the physical issues I developed 18 months ago that I still have no diagnoses for but my bipolar is something I wish I could just take away. The highs are as hard to cope with as the lows.

Anyway going to see what I can get done today

    Have a good day everyone

  • Good afternoon my beautiful diary friends.

Thanks @apple_muncher , now my mood is the other way the house is still driving me crazy 🤪  I know Rome wasn't built in a day but I wish it was just sorted. I'll get there I've decided I'll tackle one area of the house at a time. Easier that way. And well  I'm still feeling pretty good I might as well crack on with it. I just want a place for everything so we know where everything is and we aren't re buying things we already have. I'd also like to minamise what we have. To keep on top of everything easier. There are also some repairs around the house I'm saving for. Pay day this week. But I'll money shuffle at the end of the month for all the bills etc. I've done some overtime again this month and Xmas pay is In this months that was paid at a higher rate so hopefully it won't be a bad pay, I've been keeping all my extra pay and extra money from selling stuff etc separate so I can pay a chunk off the debt later in the year that way we won't be tempted to spend it

I'll try and get more listed for sale tonight

    Have a good evening everyone
Love hugs positivity and prayers for those that need or want 💗
