Happy Birthday Siebrie. It sounds like a great time.x
BBC I know what you mean about the night owl posts. I read on my phone and laptop and regularly miss posts because of that. I read a post where someone comments on something and I have no clue, I have to read back to find out what is going on. In regard to your divan, in the past I have screwed a small baton of wood across the divan pieces when the hook things got lost.
TC77 yes, hand sewing. I did start off machining the border round the blanket but gave up and did it by hand because velvet is a slippery customer. I do a lot of patchwork by hand. I am doing one with stars at the moment for my DIL. It is her Birthday in January but I doubt it will be ready. I have bought super chunky wool and am knitting all the ladies slippers for when we get together here at Christmas. DIL is a tiny wee thing and is always frozen when she ventures "up North". There is no fat on her for insulation ! I seem to have my own and her share too !
We are off to Bakewell today. It is market day. One of the few places that still has a sizeable market. Mr V has DS as his secret Santa and DS is fond of beer from a small brewery there. I have stuff to drop off at a charity shop along the way.

Made a start on cleaning and tidying the kitchen plus cobweb clearing elsewhere with OH’s help. Decluttered some hair too. Started a 🐸 on Friday and finished it today. No actual items or paperwork decluttered over the weekend but the improved cleanliness makes the place feel a bit better so am happy that progress has been made.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅9

Alot of sorting today. Dsis and A friend have given me bags of stuff in the last few weeks. I always look throguh for undesirable items. My Sis thought she had sent a load of clothes but all the bags were full of underwear with things in the top. My friend always sends lovelystuff but sometimes I find undies or something else in there.
Some items taken out for the refugees and the rest has gone in the bin, rags or cs. Total of 6 bags out today. Yay
Going up in the loft for the Christmas decs in a minute and to put some boxes up from DD work computer. Also baby time is getting closer so getting out the things I have stored for them. They will beout fo thehouse very soon.
Also today I moved 'stock' from the garage into the craft room. I have it all in one place now. Also to go from the garage is a table for my MiL craft room,. Not counted yet as it is my car so not gone properly yet.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. Hello all, I have been MIA again sorry, but I do have a good excuse me note ! We had to have our broadband decluttered for almost 3 weeks as it was completely broken and then we had to wait to be reconnected into a new cabinet. Talk about a faff 😏I have been trying to read along on my phone but unable to post because of my shaky hands. ( typing gobbledygook and frustration do not go hand in hand ) so hopefully that will get sorted tomorrow too when I see the GP in a face to face appointment. Hope to be back up and running tomorrow.Take care allnan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently10

if you lived near me BBC I think I have the parts in my tool box from a bed that went to the tip. I will try to explain better. Cut 2 batons of wood about the length of a pencil. Screw the wood either side of the join in the bed, to replace the metal fixings. Do the same at the other side. Not pretty but does the job of holding the two pieces of bed together. If anyone gets what I am on about and can explain better please join in!

Sorry for the lateness of the hour, cannot sleep.
Awful day. Like a yo-yo. Crying then normal. Normal then crying.
But there were bright spots. Rotary club singing carols. Look forward to that knock on the door every year.
And I deleted over 1000 e-mails. Took me hours so I am counting that as one bag.
Also a long standing frog was tackled, subdued, and put to bed this week. Since the beginning of time (tee-hee) I have planned to sell on ebay. (Hence the hoarding because everything was going to be sold on ebay). However, had to get over my terror of uploading photos. This week I listed 3 things. Phew, only took me 15 years...........
So....
33 bags
2 aged frogs
1 Car
1 x 3 Piece Suite
