@floss ..it's beyond a rug .. there is one already although could be bigger, today 2 pairs of socks and thermals and while cold not the depths of winter.....decided I will try and declutter and see how I go, another rug would help but in reality I will be here for a few years so I if I can clear it before the end of the month (some things will just be moved elsewhere)

Good morning, I have one of those nights where sleep seems to be optional.
I hope you had a lovely evening out Mrs SD.
On reading Mrs SD's post I seem to have completely missed a couple of pages. I see I am not alone in re using Christmas paper. Last night I covered 2 smallish boxes with Christmas paper. One for the reindeer food envelopes and one for my Mum's Christmas presents. I would usually make my Mum a hamper a la Harvest Festival box but this year I have wrapped items in the box too. I will paste some of the paper onto the egg boxes today for Party Sprout transportation.
I had a sort through of my gift stash last night and have bagged up some jewellery and toiletries to donate to a Christmas gift appeal in Sheffield.
I ate a frog. Put the campaign Handles on the drawers.
971. handles frog
975. toiletries, necklace and fancy pen, gift appeal
Today I will wrap what Christmas gifts I have. DD2 is coming to cat sit whilst we go away in a couple of weeks and I know she will resort to old habits of looking for Christmas presents.

😃 Buzzing with ideas! Even in the middle of the Sea I couldn’t fully switch off but it’s an improvement. There was so many things I enjoyed about the cruise which probably seem a bit odd but being able to go out for a safe walk in the early of the morning and watching the sun come up out was great for my anxiety 😃 I had some moments of clarity and sensibility 🤪😂 there were rather a lot of people on board especially as they were mainly inside the main atrium as the weather wasn’t great all the time. That’s why balcony cabin is so important to me 😃
I don’t know where I want to go next – if I get some stuff done this morning, I can snuggle up on the sofa with my laptop, see where the last minute special offers are, and plan some fantasy breaks 😉9 -
I have returned from being AWOL. Not much decluttering (other than money) done but spent quality time with brother and sister who flies home to US this morning. Travelled about and visited some new places although my back and hips are remembering the driving with some displeasure today. Great weekend away with lots of family at nearby farmhouse.

3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉
4. CLEAN & EMPTY SURFACE AREAS - DAILY
Really enjoyed my relaxing bath yesterday & managed to read a few chapters of my upstairs book. I did dress up warm - jeans, recently purchased thermal top, t-shirt & fleece, neck tube & silk gloves 😉 Left home early - DLR, tube & a 10 minute walk to get to the Peacock Theatre. Had a couple of drinks in the pub around the corner beforehand. I am still smiling as I write this - we saw George Hinchcliffe’s Ukulele Orchestra of GB 😁 performing for one night only 🥳 DH is a HUGE fan & now so am I 👏 Absolutely brilliant - music, singing & chat 😁 We sneaked a single photo see below
They performed an eclectic selection of music including AC/DC & ZZTop 😂 The audience sang along. It was absolutely blooming marvellous 🤩 We left the theatre & returned to the pub then taxi home. A wonderfully entertaining evening 🥳🤩😁☺️
I will be back later as I need to do a menu plan & shopping list asap 😔😉

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger what a fab evening, living in the rural sticks of Somerset the accessibility and quality of the theatre is definitely something I miss from my London stint.
@Vascodakarma a note of caution re 'fantasy break planning', I did that for 15 minutes the other week and ever since then constant ads for holidays!!!
Decluttered the shelf of doom in the kitchen today. It had definitely become a dumping ground and annoyed me evetime I looked at it. Feeling a bit under the weather so that will be me for today., food order gets delivered tonight and will use up my limited energyJune Grocery Challenge £0/£250

17/52 - a small one but I'm pleased. A moisturiser out to recycling. Took me ages to conclude that I could put it in my blue bin. Packaging symbols are so confusing some times.
18/52 - dressing gown to charity recycling.
19/52 - jacket to charity recycling.
20/52 - a pair of trousers and a top to charity recycling.
21 & 22/52 - on the way out of the door to the recycling centre my husband grabbed 9? Old shirts and t-shirts for charity recycling!8 -
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger I saw them a few years ago, they are FAB!
I have had a chap here today, decluttering my leaky, draughty door / window combo and replacing with fancy french doors & side panel. It's a local family firm, the order was placed in June, and the very-reasonable bill is to be paid on Monday when the owners are back from their caravan 😁2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
