Congratulations 3secondmemory.

On Sunday morning I ordered some new clothes.  On Monday morning I emailed the company and asked if they would be able to cancel the order and they said yes, no problem.  I have 2 wardrobes and 2 COD full of clothes and would prefer to have only one of each.  I therefore do not need any more and am very glad that they will not be coming here.

14 items paperwork gone so far this week

Have done some tidying in the shed but nothing more has left there.

Down at my dads as he settles at home with more help. DD1 had her flat fall through so her and stuff coming to mine. She's still not weight bearing and have stairs to front door and lots inside and physical  declutter stood still last few weeks.  Feels overwhelming but has asked me to take to mental health appt she made so positive 
Counting  10 taking dad's things to charity and admin frogs, phone calls all day but mainmror dad and dd1 so counting groups of frogs !

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT

2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING 

3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher;  go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉

4. CLEAN & EMPTY SURFACE AREAS - DAILY

I did sort my mail. All the washing dried on the whirligig & is folded ready to put away. I had to pop out to get milk & post a couple of birthday cards. Dinner was fish & chips delivered to the door. Cleared down some more programmes from TV planner. 

1619 - 1622 Booklet, kitchen recycling, 2 lots of cardboard packaging - recycled 

1623 Kitchen detritus - binned

Thanks for the good wishes Thrift_Taylor 👏 Hand has healed really well. We didn’t get as far north as Orkney but might manage to in 2023 🤞 We have two big holidays in 2022, so the RBR will not be our top priority next year ☹️

balabooberlies, I am so very sorry to hear about your father ☹️ an awful diagnosis ☹️ Sending huge hugs to you & very gentle hugs for your father. Then to have to isolate - I hope your niece has recovered fully & your mum injuring herself no wonder you are mentally exhausted ☹️ I agree with Floss - if you can manage a bit of self care please take the opportunity to de-stress. 3secondmemory, I fell off the sofa laughing 😂 “random gravity tests” although I must admit that sounds less clumsy than a fall 😉🤣 I have always disliked having to bin a favourite item because it is beyond repair, so I do feel for you at the loss of your favourite boots ☹️

GrannyKate, thoroughly enjoyed my trip with DH - notwithstanding random gravity test 😉 I hope you are looking forward to the full house of grandchildren 😉 Sorry about the death in the family ☹️ My tooth extraction is booked for 8th September - top left 6 ☹️ but will be nowhere near as painful as wisdom teeth extraction 🤞

2Scratters, quite agree that what you are shredding are not proper books & they are getting a 2nd very useful life - so win, win 👏 As to your full freezer, perhaps you can menu plan using freezer contents augmented with store cupboard contents 😉 Sorry to hear that your DH is having to consider early retirement due to health issues & I am sending you both positive financial vibes.

Sorry your trip to Scotland had to be cancelled ruby_eskimo ☹️ Personally I think you are making major progress - wardrobe & paperwork - especially as it is sentimental bits which are always difficult to tackle. As to the clothes hangers you can see if any of your local cs would like them - I believe they are receiving lots of clothing donations but not necessarily any hangers.

@Gers we have some of the original HP paperwork for my parents' bedroom suite of bed, gents & ladies wardrobes,  dressing table & stool and one bedside cabinet, bought between 1957 & 1959 which now lives in my bedroom. They never got the c.o.d. or  2nd bedside cabinet as my mum fell pregnant with oldest brother & stopped working.

 Hi folks, work for me yesterday. Coach Trip are coming to film at work or rather celebrity coach trip ! I love Brendan!

 Epic painting marathon almost over. I think the woodwork needs one more coat to completely cover the grey.

 Painting, laundry and housework on the cards for me today. Still not done any weeding out the front. Sorry to be boring but if I post my intentions I do them rather than watch TV and crochet all day!
