7 items paperwork
1 item from shed
Kept raining yesterday so not able to get into shed much and had to bring washing indoors to dry.Sorry to hear about your son, energyshifter. Sending you hugs and healing wishes for your son.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅7 -
Bala, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I hope you're managing to be kind and self compassionate to yourself.
@EnergyShifter huge hugs too.
Its so hard to look after ourselves especially when loved ones are ill and our focus. Anything however small we do should be recognised and there will many things we can't do and that's ok and understandable.
@elsien many cleaners( the good ones) will find out what you need help with and if they need to pile things up to do x and leave y as not a priority and inaccessible etc that's ok. My cousin tells me when I say I'd like help with a deep clean but embarrassed that this is when I need help and that she has someone who just moved things and does what they can ( and she had alot of things in a small house) and she finds it q godsend.
MrsSD hope you're recovered from fall.
Hugs to everyone.
Counting 20 over last few days mainly admin frogs for dad and DDs . Was looking at getting an andrew mellen book and DD2 asked why get book and not just get rid of things! Most things are mine but hers are kept too often on the floor and dumped on hall floor. Annoying but not the most important.

Eneryshifter,oh my goodness,what a time for both of you and all the family. Thank goodness your son is safe and receiving treatment. Slow progress is some progress, so some comfort if only small. xxxxx
Up with the larks today, actually up before the birds were up! Thank you Mr V's snoring.
Went shopping with DD1 yesterday. treated myself to a new with tags clutch bag from the chazzer for £1. She is applying for a job in the Shetland Isles. She would be perfect for it and her BF is on board. It would be a sideways move career wise and zero chance of promotion but what a life style choice. Fingers crossed.
DD2 has had an offer accepted on a house. 2 days after she is saying nothing has happened yet. hahaha bless.
I have had to admit to myself that the bedroom needs another coat of emulsion. Insert many crying emojis here. I know it is only a temporary fix but it would bug me to still see the blue still coming through.
Todays agenda tip, laundry, admin stuff, food shopping, emulsioning.

Morning all. Your Scotland trip is making me very jealous Mrs_SD; we were supposed to go last year but obviously that was cancelled. Have yet to rebook but will probably be a couple of years away now.
Not a lot of things happening over the weekend but made a start on the spare wardrobe. It has a set of built in cubbys down one side so I organised 1 into all our travel bits and pieces like different adapters and mini toiletries into a basket I had leftover from my wardrobe declutter. Also made a start on sorting out the paperwork in there - have 2 boxes of mementos and sentimental things like tickets to things and cards so sorted them into themed piles and managed to locate the zipped wallets I bought last year especially for this purpose. Sorted through 1 box and quickly realised that I need more than the 10 wallets I had so will need to order some more when payday rolls around tomorrow. Feeling good that I've started to make a little progress.

Yesterday from the ongoing shed declutter, I binned the plastic bits from the old karcher patio cleaner, the rotten pieces of wood from the arbour ( kept the good stuff for my new cobbled together one ) the rotten wooden top and feet from my old bird table and a broken sheet of hardboard . Also gone the hard plastic ( cut down lemonade bottles ) from the old bird table stand which was supposed to stop the squirrels from climbing up...... didn't work very well, they just leapt from the bushes instead 🤨 Today gone out- a pair of DH socks as there is no longer any elastic in the tops and my slippers as they are flapping when I walk 😂 (they had been stuck down a couple of times already). Luckily I had a newish pair in my holiday bag ( can't walk without something on my feet ) and as we are unable to caravan this year again I might as well use them now and then replace for next year.I have picked more blackberries ( about 2lb ) from my garden and it seems there are a lot more to come so I have put those in the freezer for a future date, all grown from a thornless blackberry plant that I saved from a £ shop years ago 👏🏽.Went in the office this morning and couldn't find what I was looking for ( bag of spare masks ) and had a bit of a meltdown with stuff everywhere 🥴, so my next goal is to start sorting stuff in there. Finally found them in the wardrobe in the spare bedroom, as you do 😱. I'm afraid mea culpa but I'd forgotten that I'd put them "safe" from the mess !Liverpool Anne To make the jam I only added more sugar and boiled the juice up to a jam consistancy. I have even made compost heap jam / jelly before and that was a success too (see Pam Corbin- Pam the jam on g00gle )Happy decluttering all, hugs to anyone in need.nan
