Not much done - unless you can count weeds!
808-809 work trousers and jacket of DH taken to clothes bank. They had definitely seen better days.
810-811 blown light bulbs thrown away.
A bedroom is also tidier looks so much better.8 -
1160: another 75 emails deleted or unsubscribed
1161-1162: more plastic to recycling
1163: additional load of laundry
Mrs_Salad_Dodger I went to see The Sparks Brothers documentary with a Q&A with the band and the director, Edgar Wright. It's been great to go back and listen to the Sparks albums as I was only familiar with their singles.

So I ahve got rid of several items today. Thge biggest was a pillar drill. Very heavy and old which I was given after someone died. I was hoping to renovate it but it has sat around for several years. Not any more.
Also gone were two large metal ammo boxes and a large gas cylinder that I wombled. Someone had started making a woodburner out of it. So £50 in and 4 large items out today. Yay.
DH has now started clearing the garage now these items have gone. He has been wanting to do this for at least 6 months. There are still loads of tools from when we ran a group. We have sold most of them off. We are going to see if we can donate them to a local group to clear more space. We are reorganising ot so he can work in there on projects.
He will have a man cave so that should make him happy.

Saturday started quite bright, bit of sunshine & a bit warmer + the bonus of no wind 👏🙂
There has been one heavy downpour & some fine drizzle but 🤞currently dry. DH has been busy in the garage - making reinforcing bits for the hinges of the Goldwing top box.I have swept the kitchen floor; tidied, dusted & polished the large coffee table (which my DSis uses); watched Olympic athletics - especially pleased that they showed quite a lot of the Men’s Discus Final 👏🙂 as I am a fan of the throwing events. A remnant from my youth - I was a thrower - javelin (had a great P.E. Teacher who was unusually more interested in the throwing events than the running events 🥳) She inspired me to join the local athletics club where I also took up discus & shot putt. Happy memories - travelling to club competitions (met Geoff Capes at one meet - anyone remember him? 😉), pitching in at a couple of meets by running or should that be trotting round in the 1500m (3rd in the B race & got lapped) 🤣😉😅, running 3rd leg in the 4 x 100m relay, long jump & my favourite winning the B string 100m hurdles race (I was the only entrant 🤣🤣🤣) Our sprinters pitched in by competing in the throwing events. The 5 of us in the team that day won the meet 🙂 🥳 I was in the same club as a couple of ladies who became Olympians 🙂
Back in a minute - DH called me away to order a couple of wall units that are finally in stock 👏
‘Grumpy’ neighbour knocked on the door with a box of fancy chocolates for DH 👏🙂 as a thank you for the bicycle repairs.
I have also sorted 90% of my current paperwork - I had been a bit remiss over the last couple of days 😔 The 2 items left are dependent on others ☹️1452 - 1458 Newspaper, 5 booklets, 1” envelopes & leaflets - recycled
Very funny balabooberlies 🤣
Absolutely you can count weeds villagelife 🙂 Well done on the decluttering & the bedroom tidy up 👏
Great work on the emails short_bird 👏 Another trip down memory lane - The Sparks Brothers - weird & wonderful but oh so talented 🙂

Added to my admin frog list - totals 20 - managed to get through 7 or progress to next step 1368-1374 had hoped to do better, 2 small refunds awaited, and a complaint made. Hopefully more to do tomorrow.
1375 emptied cutlery and odd kitchen thing drawer, bits thrown away, cleaned and put back
1376 old food used up
1376 emails deleted and unsubscribing.
Bought myself a new 17 month planner, although I still have this year's diary - I always buy too many either for different aspects of life organisation - work/social/new habits or for a fresh start. This has monthly and weekly planners so may be over complicated but I am hoping for great things of it!!
Going to watch some TV and file some papers which I will count tomorrow.
also own up to having brought in a few things that neighbours are giving away - @bit_by_bit not sure if this is similar to your wombling .... thing is when I get it home it's not quite what I thought it would be and can't put back on our whatsapp group, so keep for a while and then to CS prob.9 -

Dinner was salmon fillets (baked in foil with a knob of butter), last of the harvested hg potatoes - boiled & the last of the mixed vegetables from freezer. The potatoes were delicious 😋 & all grown from ‘eyes’ from sm potatoes so very MSE 🙂DSis & I just watched a beautiful film called Summerland.1459 - 1460 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled

FantasyMe is the type of woman who likes to sit down on a Sunday evening to enjoy her favourite TV program, knowing that she’s got a head start and a bit of a plan for next week.I get quite a lot done on ‘days off’ like these.
