I've had a busy couple of weeks so not much decluttering going on here. However today binned a very tatty phone case, don't know where the phone has gone, probably in the DGC's toy box, which will be on the agenda this week for decluttering, again. Out 2 more light bulbs( now replaced ) how come I have had to replace 3 in the last couple of weeks ? I suppose these things are meant to happen in 3's.Just made a treacle tart with some leftover pastry and the scraps of bread I have been saving in the freezer. I don't eat the crusts as my hair is curly enough 🤣 but don't want to throw them away, waste not etc... and they are too good for the birds, who have their own wild bird mix anyway. There is still some pastry left so tomorrow I shall use it up making some sausage rolls, which I hope will go into the freezer, if they get that far 😋Hope everyone is well, hugs a-plenty if not.Mehefin hope the cataract op goes well.nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently10

I am correct in thinking that B.C. (before Covid19) you posted lots of pictures of your garden? I remember thinking what a wonderful & interesting garden. I hope the sneaky Chinese was delicious- it was definitely well earned 🙂👏Now...I had new a new tap installed last July when I had a dishwasher installed. Looking closely at the photo I think the washing machine has been changed. The pine has mellowed to a rather not-very nice orange! The once empty pantry now has some things added to it, I've dug out the food stuffs from the kitchen recess, all in date.Haven't started to tackle the tinned goods cupboard yet.
My garden will need some major attention once I get back home. In the meantime it's only getting the grass cut every fortnight in the season by the husband of my cleaner, she's still going in to keep the spiders at bay.

Just finished sorting the file box. Loads of out of date paperwork thrown on the wood burner. Everything filed correctly and all up to date.10

Binned some make up bits i don’t like.
not much else though, this week.
have done lots of walking though.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?11 -
Finally got room for all the haberdashery but discovered that a brand new pair of slippers are too small so off they go to the CS . They were in another drawer but moving stuff around for everything sorted and two empty tins to become forever homes for something or other on down the line. Also got space for my box of Covid gloves and the disposable masks. So a lot tidied now in the bedroom and decluttered space is easier to clean
We also had ants! They had set up home in a stack of buckets and flowerpots , outside of course, but annoying any way .
So more stuff out.
So far,
1 broken phone case
1 pair socks -too small and too thick
1pair new slippers
1torn skirt lining. I'm keeping the tweedfor again.
3 books
2 crumbling plastic buckets
2 crumbling plastic pots
1 pair thick tights
1 bottle of rancid body cream to bin with the other obvious stuff and the rest to the CS when it opens.
Total= 205+13=218.
I was a bit annoyed about the body cream. It was very expensive, bought for DH, who didn't like it, BUT, only told me this after it had gone so rancid it was usekess. He used it once I think. He has very dry skin and we have been trying to find a french replacement for the .uk stuff he used to use. The French have an enormous range of creams, lotions and gels. I'm already working through a previous reject of his and he is making do with another new one which he doesn't like either ....
Basically he just wants the UK sort, but I'm not going anywhere any time soon and there are lots of things I'd sooner bring back than kilos of his cream. I don't even know if I could bring it back.9 -
Forgot to say keep safe everyone and hugs for everyone too.9
