449-451 a couple of parcels and some letters for both sons given to them as things still being delivered here for them.
452-453 gift bags given to them with chocolate in them.
Hadn't planned in much being one as both sons and girlfriends came round and we sat in the garden. Much food and wine were decluttered too!!12 -
Good morning folks,
Thank you for my star Mrs SD. Nothing unusual about me, I am very ordinary indeed.
Emm I agree about spreading the word about breast screening. I will share my story. Please skip as it is off topic.
I was a single Mum for 15 years when I met Mr V, a widower with a six year old daughter. We got married and went off on a weeks honeymoon. The day after we got back I had my first ever breast screening appointment. Within two weeks of getting married I was diagnosed with breast cancer. To say it was a surprise was an under statement. I didn't feel ill ,I couldn't feel a lump. My eldest was doing A levels youngest O levels Mr V and DD2 had nursed and lost DD2's Mum only 2 years previous. We got through thanks to the magnificent NHS. My oncologist told me that I had cancer for a couple of years before it was found. BTW it was very deep, next to my rib cage and you could feel it if you pressed very hard. Also what surprised me was it wasn't a "lump" it was like a knobbly cocktail sausage! So, go to the screening, it's free and could save your life. What is a moment of discomfort in the grand scheme of things.
Today I will potter, wash the bedding, make a nice dinner, have a long bath. Tomorrow off to DD1's house to help her tame her garden.

Last night I took everything from another pantry shelf onto the kitchen table, it was completely filled. This morning I've made a start with emptying stuff into food waste bags, two so far. Five little jars of liquid glucuse were first to hit the bin, dated BB 1999. I'm having a wee break right now, I'll go back to it later.

Happy Easter folks! Thankyou for my gold star Mrs SD, and I`m glad my `name` makes you smile.Vulpix, thanks for sharing - what rotten timing though! As you say, people usually know of someone (or even someone close) who didn`t make it, yet there are SO many who do fully recover, and too many women are not aware of this.Right, today I`m looking at the alcoves either side of fireplace. On the left there`s a small Welsh dresser full of stuff - may need to be moved when the workmen start so will need emptying, start by sorting contents. Then in the righthand alcove is `my` corner, the computer (that serves as telly/radio etc as well) and under and behind where it lives are many very dusty cables, ancient cobwebs, and possibly small things that fell behind there and never got retreived because it was hard to get to. Now I have cleared and removed a small side table and a Somjtall DVD shelf unit, so I can get to things better. This is more like Domestic Archaeology than a declutter!12

Sorry, that last bit should just be " a tall DVD shelf unit.",

Happy Easter all, hope you found eggs if you wanted them!
I'm in the process of selling stuff on a F@cebook group so will come back with a total when the current event has finished...‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Binned:- Dad's broken hand cleaner, only been like it for 2 years but he wouldn't part with it 🙄 ( I've tried several times before to tempt him.) I've also binned his hand held light which won't hold it's charge. He thought DH could fix them again but sadly they were both beyond repair this time. ( I brought them home and binned them or they would still be in his conservatory gathering more dust )I've been having a spring clean of my dining room this week and lots of dust has been removed, the paperwork that has been kept on the welsh dresser has now been sorted and either ready for shredding or recycled, however the important bits have been filed away. I need to empty the thing this week and have a sort out as I'm sure there are things lurking at the back that are no longer needed. I need to find a light bulb in there anyway as one of the dining room ones went to light bulb heaven this week 💡.DGD loved her Barbie furniture and lots of the tissue paper mountain has now left the building along with the Easter baskets I made. 2 Easter egg boxes have been recycled today, but there's still some chocolate left for tomorrow 🍫 unless we get the munchies again tonight 😋 Also finished a tub of ice cream after tea so the plastic tub's gone out too.Well done to everyone as you all seem to be doing so much better than me lately, perhaps I don't have so much to declutter now...... Oh how I wish that were true ! Never mind I'll keep plodding along.Take care all 💖nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently14

Evening MrsSD and fellow declutterers, picture the scene, 6.45pm this evening. Am fed up and restless. Been out with my daughter on Easter egg hunt with gardening group, so I wanted to remain active. What did I do? I brought forward the Spring cleaning of the bathroom to today! As you do 😉 An hour and a half later and have filled a rubbish bag consisting mainly of dust, dirt, debris, empty bottles of cleaning agents, bathroom bottles and various cleaning materials and used bathroom toys that our daughter has grown out of. It's also been vacuumed as well. Looking the part, however need to think of a way to clean limestone tiles without staining them. Used a multi surface cleaner which has done well on the surface dirt, but there's more to do. Also need to think about removing some black mould on the mastic around the bath. But these are finishing touches, the bathroom is looking well. I don't know where that burst of energy came from. But there are two plus points here. It's refuse day tomorrow so all the bathroom rubbish will disappear and secondly I don't have to think about cleaning the bathroom on Easter Monday, so I can plan our day with my daughter while my wife is at work. April is going to be a tough month, plenty on at work (good thing) but also I have a family funeral to attend this coming week of a relative so just need tomorrow to get my head together, have a good day and then crack on and see where the month takes us. One day at a time and all that, cheers 🙂13

nannywindow - what a lucky DGD i can imagine her with the barbie furniture
Keeping some winter clothes out, although today nice time in the park with some friends, also two coats of paint on one garden retaining wall (as neighbour's garden higher) and then fence. Had been white (imagine mediterranean feel although just looked grubby) now black and pleased with it.
726 black paint decluttered to wall
727 top to CS bag
728 DD2 cleared out notes from her last set of assessments ( I was tempted to suggest she keeps them or to put them aside for her just in case for rest of assessments - but meant to be other topics. Managed to keep my mouth closed and put out with recycling and rubbish.
729 - 730 old food out
