1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. CLEAN ONE ROOM (TOP TO BOTTOM) EVERY MONTH (hopefully 3 weekly by the end of the year)Saturday started dry, sunny & windy. Stripped the bed - 2 wm loads - one load hung out on whirligig - partially dried before the hail came 😱 Finished off in td, bed remade.DH zizzed peelings & fed the worms. I had a bowl of hm soup for lunch - very tasty 🤤
Dinner was sausages, oven chips, fried eggs & baked beans. DH did the washing up, I dried & put away.Managed to clear down quite a few more programmes from TV planner.
572 - 576 Kitchen recycling, office recycling, magazine, cardboard box, drinks cans - recycled
577 - 578 Kitchen detritus, plastic packaging - binnedAh yes TC77 - but think how bad it could be if you weren’t doing the things you are doing 😉 Good luck to you & your cousin - you can each point out the other’s clutter challenges 🙂 & make it into a little competition with before & after photos 😉 Well done on the decorating & shredding 👏. Excellent work TC77 👏
Thanks -taff 👏 I did know that one of the many disadvantages of Br*x*t was that customs forms are now required for everything. However your reminder prompted me to look up the details - talk about overly complicated - each item, cost & weight, has to be listed 😡 The lightest parcel has 2 x £1 Easter Eggs in it - dread to think how much it will cost. I think I will have to visit the P.O. & get a handful of the customs forms & fill them in at home. Our P.O. is in a shop so no real space for filling in forms ☹️Good work villagelife 👏
Nice to see you Nicnak 👋 Well done on decluttering the mice 🐭👏 An officially clutter free kitchen - how absolutely brilliant 👏. One Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way 🙂 Excellent start on decluttering your Lockdown Lard 😉👏. Oh that did make me laugh Nicnak - continental armpit 🤣 Glad your shoulder is on the mend 🙂Balabooberlies - know thyself & love thyself go hand in hand 🙂 You are a wonderful person, who only needs to remember that you should praise yourself each & every day. It might be difficult to start with BUT eventually you will change your mindset & believe that you ARE a wonderful person who deserves good things 🙂You have been very busy mothernerd 👏 Your crafting stash sounds wonderfully organised & I wish you many more years of enjoyment 🤞 As I was reading the info about easy bruising I did have visions of you measuring likely surfaces & then padding them with cotton wool 😉 (as an aside, My DSis is in her mid 50’s & she bruises very easily - but I think that might be due to her heart meds ☹️) A great idea for vulpix 👏
Good work short_bird 👏
You are very welcome moneyonmymindsam 🙂 Another person who has been busy 👏
A big cheer for emptying the car 🥳 Please make sure your pamper session is restful & relaxing 😌 after all you are worth it 🙂🙂 but it doesn’t really sound like you have pampered yourself yet as you have done so much decluttering 😉 By the way, I think that if you sold sentimental items too cheaply you would come to resent decluttering. You have done absolutely the right thing by keeping them for sale at a later date 👏 Remember, after lots of cooking your kitchen will be ‘a bit messy’ 😉😉
Excellent work D123456789 👏 and very well done on showing restraint in fleabay purchases 😉👏 Wow 🤩 you have been really busy & from your description it is working.
Re the baby clothes, perhaps a hospital or a women’s refuge might be very grateful?
If the shelves are lovely, I would buy them - you can always get rid of other non-loved shelves if you end up with too many 😉What an amazing weight loss vulpix 👏👏 shows your determination - I think quite a few of us have put on weight ☹️☹️ How lovely that DD2 sent the mystery flowers - somehow receiving flowers from someone who is not usually that way inclined is more gratifying - really makes one feel appreciated 🙂 Good luck with the glass vases & tea light holders collecting 🤞Well done GrannyKate 👏 Especially enlisting DS2 - you have saved money & decluttered the stress of poorly functioning broadband & TV 👏🙂🙂I will be back later to finish cheerleading 😉MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 578/20212021 Savings Pot: £41.00 to end of MarchBe Kind. Morning All,
So a quick speed round asd@ to aquire bottle of drink and flowers to plus ones mum. Did nudge him to spend a bit more as you only get one mum and I'm a sucker for flowers!!
Thank you TC77 aim is to really reduce them over time. There is so much of it. I have decided to keep around 5 items going forward but suspect that will be a long journey. I did raise a few thousand for charity and the family do not want any of it (nor did they want to help me clear it) so I've been left with quite a bit to go through.
I saw a vintage my little pony single duvet selling on ebay for over £300 so if anyone has one if those you may want to sell it 😂🐎
Happy Mothers day all mum'sand a virtual hug from me for anyone who needs it 💐💕

I sat for about 2 hours last night at desktop with address book, tablet and phone and synchronised all the contacts. Late DH used to do this automatically but there were loads of duplicates and variations. Lots of people who I don't know and guess they were to do with his hobbies. One of those jobs I have been meaning to do for sometime but I have to be in the right mood to do things related to late DH. I am giving myself three points here - 1 for additions, 1 for deletions and 1 for corrections.
530-532 Updating and deleting from contacts.

Happy MOTHERS Day to everyone. It was strange for me this year as the first time I have not had a card or gift to buy following MIL's death in December. I remember my own mum saying how strange this was when her mother died. It makes me think of all those Mother's days gone by and back to going to Sunday school and church in the 50s and being given a bunch of flowers to take home to mum. Cards were made at school.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Mrs S.D.
I am not a mother but I view myself as motherly. So no cards or flowers for me today.
But your very lovely words have absolutely made my day. Thank you.
big hug and kiss

Morning all,
I realise that I have bee buying far too much - evidenced by no of receipts and packaging to sort out! Really hoping donation hub will take small desk and ironing board but they are tending to focus on electrics and food.
563 emails chasing refunds
564 receipts recycled
found f*eegle I haven't used before so posted a couple of things, and really hoping I can motivate myself to make a difference this week as off work most of the time. Decluttered many series on netflix9 -

Doing better at keeping on top of current emails so they'll not become old emails in future.
Big revelation this week - I can now envisage what I would like the place to look like once decluttered ie what furniture I would like to get rid of and where things like the printer will go. Up until now there was too much clutter to actually be able to work this out.

Thought I'd pop in here for a little while, I usually 'live' in the OS Daily board. For now I'm with my bed-bound and very elderly DM, her flat is huge and stuffed full of things. It's all very orderly, in boxes and labelled etc, apart from the kitchen. The other week I started on a clear out, just to make space. I found 14 1.5kg bags of flour, all out of date (by a long way) and some with weeviles, they are now at the tip. Saucepans dating back to the 70s have gone too, all the lining was lifting and peeling. Next is the pantry which I'm dreading. DM knows it all has to go though feels that it's all her treasure which she's saved all her life. It's down to the war years when things were hard to get!Already I've cleared out a huge amount of paperwork going back to the 60s. DM kept every bill, onvoice and receipt which she received 'just in case'.It would be impossible to list everything so I will just do numbers of things.12
